Sorry Pam, I'm slightly cynical about this whole 'empowerment' business.😆 If you need others to grant you power, you have inadvertently dis-empowered yourself. But anyway coming back to the show, this is why Malini is supported isn't it? People extrapolate their own life circumstances onto her, forgetting that this show is set in a completely different context. Upper class background, tick. Modern ego-driven mentality, tick. Well educated, tick. 'Bechaari' victim who doesn't use her agency properly, tick. People can identify a member of their own tribe very well.😆
