General request to everyone.....no need to condescend from either side excessively.

It's not about being "intellectual" or not.....everyone's patience is wearing thin for different reasons right now vis a vis the storyline. Some of us are able to keep patience better than others. But that doesn't mean we need to go around pointing fingers constantly at those who can't.

I have my days when the show frustrates me a lot too but I don't believe in writing off the show over every outrageous melodramatic gimmick. This show still has a lot going for it despite the drag and depression they are showing excessively since a month.....so it's helpful to view it with that context instead of making it about andolans.

They need to find some avenue for Imlie to talk to people who aren't depressed or psychotic. The phone convo with Sundar was a nice reprieve yesterday and for once Imlie didn't even ask him about Malini😆....so if that's what it takes, please make her talk to Sundar more😛

AC and Malini are the kind of modern women who will be absolutely content with husbands who cheat, kill, have no moral scale as long as they get attention from those very men.

They are the kind of modern women who will seek vengeance simply because they have the means to it. Mostly because, who will stop them?

AC and Malini are the kind of women who need help but belong to such dysfunction that no one has the time to address it with them.

Long term pata nahin kya hoga but I feel they will keep Malini as a permanent thorn on their side. Mainly because I feel Malini is not a person who can ever understand what a relationship means and what it takes to maintain one. So whatever she tries to latch on to after Aditya is mostly going to fail. She is going to be like a fish out of water and most of all she’s Imlie’s sister toh kahin jaane hi nahin denge. If the makers decide to take her arc in a better trajectory, good, varna I think she’s just going to be this constant migraine.

Again, the issue comes back to balance.....the makers still aren't really being able to balance that well overall cuz the track is only either about Malini's depressive self-pity or Imlie being abused.....there has to be some other angle added to maintain balance.

No storyline can continue long term only on the basis of managing the weak minded depression of a character as empty as Malini.....that's what the makers need to think through.....usko story mein latka ke rakhna hai, shauk se rakho....but show other stuff too beyond Imlie just getting demeaned by everyone. Even the TRP audience can only jhelo constant depression for so long.....they also need breaks in between.

Wohi toh! 😆 It's been over 2 weeks and they still haven't shown Imlie actually attending a single class in college.....ek din sindoor drama ho gaya, uske baad yeh rose drama dikha diya and that's it.....lol woh bas corridors mein ghoom ke, bully hoke ghar waapis aa jaati hai......

Is it really so hard to manage a dhang ka classroom scene? lol ok chalo teacher nahin cast karna toh Imlie ko ghar pe hi dikhaa do books ke saath....but woh bhi nahin karna.....more time needs to be showing how elaborately Queen Didi is lounging around in her new bedroom space😆

I agree. But do you think they want to get that balance back? Whatever they are trying to do seems to be working well for them toh karenge na over-utilize use? I would love to get a breather but they have been on it for a month now; going on a second easily without flinching. Isiliye I was thinking ki even if they tighten other storylines or make the overall mood lighter elsewhere, Malini ko har jagah intersperse karenge with her own issues. I actually think they like this constant depression they are meting out to us 😆

Which is why I am also guessing ki agar Imlie aati hai vaapas it still might be because of Malini.

Haha at 90s wala romance....lol yes Adi-Imlie ka shuru se hi aisa dikhaya hai....90s feel hai inki story mein kaafi and that is a big part of the draw to me cuz baaki shows mein toh wohi typical aajkal ka superficial/artificial crap hai......this 90s ka raw feel sets Adi-Imlie apart without this even being a "period" show....lol they are like a timeline unto themselves even in the middle of 2021.....lol

As for her sitting on Babusahib ki bike.....lol it will be more about her being out of options in terms of getting home I guess toh baith jaayegi when Babusahib lagaaos fikar waali daant.....lol why did you think AC won't see them? haha this whole week is meant to be about AC trying to find clues about Adi-Imlie na....toh itna toh dikh hi jaana tha. It's all for drama ki Imlie will be mentally tortured and harassed over her equation with Adi even if she's barely meeting him/talking to him.....keechad phir bhi uchhala jaayega on an innocent cuz there are plenty of pigs in this swamp. Meanwhile Didi wahaan roti rahegi ki mujhe bhi sympathy do, main toh kuch dino ki mehmaan hoon in T house😆

This has exactly been the sore point for me with this show lately. They absolutely have no balance when it comes to the story telling. They all are beating the same bush ki how sad Malini is. Sach ka dhindora baja dete hain every now and then! And like you said I am not sure how long a TRP viewer can watch that. Eventually they want to see their characters rise no matter what teams people are in. I have mentioned this before too, they have all their key players there, so much can be shown in terms of their dynamics.. Rupidi- Imlie, Rupi di -Adi, Hell even Nishant- malini can chat, aparna and radha ji can chat about how things are changing....but nahi, all we get is wallowing didi or everyone else wallowing for her. Why is Imlie never shown studying in the house or college? Why is she always in the kitchen?

For now it almost looks like everyone is getting turns..I cannot wait for PD gang to start getting their turns!
