I think they never imagined the character to be such a hit and the novelty factor of having a well-written ML character helped a lot. I don't mind if he's the one to unravel the details, just get it done. I know ITV usually has female-centric stories but in this case I would prefer they stick to their current approach. It would be much more believable and better for TRPs.

Also, with the supporting characters, I understand they need them but must they be so annoying? All shows have side characters but smart writers know how to enhance the story through them. Forget other shows, even here, look at how much we're appreciating Farhad and even Harish from day 1, who aren't technically Raghav's family. It's because they help move the story forward but are not written as plain and stereotypical characters. I can't say the same for the Deshmukhs. Also, I believe that not having more of her dada and vahini was a big miss on the writers' parts. That dynamic may never explored in the show, which is a total shame. Siddesh is a good man and I refuse to believe he would stop being invested in his sister's happiness, unless we discover difference facet of his later, if ever.

I think they did anticipate, cause initial promos me, they kept his angle a little hidden. Cause focus was on the widow remarriage bit. It was like her worst fear came true with Raghav Rao. But once they saw his popularity because of Sai Ketan's work, they are now utlising that as the pivot on which rest of the story will run.

Till now, it was all about Raghav and his trauma. Now it will be about Raghav getting to know about Pallavi and her life. Kyunki Raghav ke life ka mess to sort ho gaya with his family coming to live with him. Now he has a lot of time figuring out how to deal with his "supposed' wife.

I think this will also manifest in other ways, e.g. he may begin to trust her, but realize that she doesn't trust him when it comes to herself. Also, when she gets in trouble or has some issues, he isn't going to be the first person she goes to for help or guidance. She somehow used to do this before the wedding, or Raghav found ways to help her. But now, she won't think of him as her go-to person, she won't share her problems with him, and she may even turn down his unsolicited offers of help. That is going to hurt him and hope he understands what it feels like when the other person repeated refuses to trust you despite your best intentions towards them.

As I said, Raghav is woefully slow in understanding his feelings. So, things will settle and unsettle him. He will be understanding the gravity of entering into a marriage with a woman on a leash for his family. His assuming that everything will normalize after marriage and Pallavi will be the demure wife and DIL is the height of being delusional. After witnessing a silent death of her former self during the marriage rituals, what was he expecting to happen. He will live happily with the family, and she will exist in some corner of his house? What did he expect, I want to know, cause it baffles me sometimes.

Also, Pallavi was always in his mind. And surprisingly, he has tied million invisible expectations with her already, even when unrelated. Now she is his wife. God knows uske dimaag me kya hai. Pallavi will be very welcoming, warm, and exerting her rights on the Rao family. But she will neither exert any right on Raghav nor entertain him. Lets see how long Raghav puts up with that.

Frankly, I don't want her to fall in love first. I want Raghav to. Cause it is very clear with the marriage, who will be the guiding force and who will keep this marriage together. Pallavi will not, for sure.

yeah that’s also there but as far as we can see Anna is an open book. If he is faithful to someone, he will go all the way with them regardless of how they are to him. That’s how he has been with Amma & Kirti and he will do the same with Pallavi and here guilt factor is also there, so he will be at her beck and call. Jealousy might come up because of Mandar but that wouldn’t lessen the passion for her. He’s going to go crazy in a different way and I’m all for his angst. Writers better stick to Anna’s character & make Pallavi all cold blooded for sometime 😉

oh oh, I’m almost feeling bad for Anna reading this but he dug his hole himself. He brought the roller coaster into his life so now all we can say is face it 😆But you are right, already his thinking process is wiped out as far as Pallavi is concerned. Now when feelings are also added up, we don’t know how he is going to react. Anna kuch bhi kar saktha hai. Jaha ithna kameena pan dikhaya hai shaadi keliye, we can expect anything from Anna when feelings crop up. Damn, getting all excited thinking about it 😄
