Maida means all purpose flour in hindi. The stuff u use to make cakes n stuff of that sort. That is why it was funny to me.

its pronounced differently...flour is prounced like meda, this is maay-da😆 its quite a common name

Hmm. Where I grew up in India we always said mayda. I grew up in UP so maybe it’s different elsewhere
