I think Shaan is just observing (at least I am hoping that is what he is doing). So far he has discovered-

1) Shaurya loves Anokhi and is willing to fight for her

2) Anokhi has more spine and spunk than Astha and she cares deeply for Shaurya

3)Entire household knew about Shaakhi and Devi orchestrated the entire engagement fiasco to force Shaurya in a corner

4)Tej is not on board with Devi's methods

5)Shagun is still determined to marry Shaurya despite knowing who Shaurya wants. In other words she does not love Shaurya and she is not an innocent party caught in crossfire in all of this.

On a different note, my sympathy for Astha grows by minute after seeing Shaan. He is so spineless that I wonder what Astha ever saw in him. He does not want to call Shaurya because there are other people who can call him....I just can't.

I think all Tej cares about is an heir to Saberwal fortune, Shaurya is shown to be the face SIAC and critical to its success. I don't think he cares about Devi's kitchen politics. If she can manage it with Shaurya still managing the institute ...great!. If her kitchen politics leads to their heir rebelling and walking away then she is at fault. There also seems to be several hints that Tej is not aware of all the unsavory stuff Devi does ...Alok manages it for her for example Devi was scared if Tej would find out during the entire kidnapping accident.

I wanted to cry with Anokhi.... she is in a difficult position. Her heart wants Shaurya but her head is warning her of all the risks. Koi nahi...that is how you get drama.

Not sure what Vineet heard and how he will react. Why would he kidnap Shaurya if he guessed that Shaurya likes Anokhi. He would instead insist that they get together and try to get money from Shaurya. I guess our show decided to go thriller route. Who is the kidnapper and if he is even kidnapped?
