He was not saying out of concerned or care. He was saying she should have let Shuarya taken in confidence, her way was wrong

I think it’s because he has seen how far shaurya could go to achieve what he wants. He has seen this during rustication issue when he did not keep him in the loop

Tej character is really confusing me. I hope writers will make his character a turning point for story. What I guess he is angry with devi because of her foolishness shaurya is going against them. Though devi was right that shaurya would have prapose anokhi but announcing his engagement like this it backfire her. He only gave this authority to devi to control shaurya's life but he was miffed with her way of handling that's what I understand about tej's anger towards devi

He knows very well when someone tries to corner Shaurya, he rebels...
