Even I loved EDKV and Namik. Unfortunately the makers abruptly pulled the plug. Though there was a proper happy ending, all the angst that were built up between the lead through weeks, all were wasted as Ramnath himself confessed. 2 min mein Nirmala-Shravan ka milaap ho gaya and I was like 🤢. Aur to aur Ramnath to bhi maaf kar diya tha. It's been more than 4 years and I am still sour to the fact that the makers and the channel ruined a show with so much potential. I wish they released the original screenplay/story they had in their mind as an e-book or website post 😭

After watching EDKV, I wasn’t attracted to any ITV shows. Saw the clip of post ragging hug in insta, promo clips of SS and got invested in SAAKK. I never noticed the similarities between Shravan and Shaurya earlier. Now that you have mentioned EDKV, I can see there are actually some. Neverthesless, the plot of SAAKK is more intriguing, KV-Deba both are fantastic. Hope that we will get a good closure this time. 😃

I was a huge fangirl for EDKV, very invested! It got me on twitter! And what Sony did to it made me really angry. I haven't really looked at Sony shows since. One of the reasons I don't really look at offscreen lead friendships is because of Nimik. Once that went sour, the whole show lost its charm. So I don't invest in Devir. I'm all about ShaKhi!!

Shaurya and Sharavan do have their abandonment issues in common.....which has really colored the way they look at women. I never really thought of it until you said it. I must really like male leads with painful family pasts. Happy and sorted male leads aren't really my thing.

I think if I watched it again....I could appreciate KVs acting........but I would HATE Shaurya. Just thinking about it make me annoyed with him. Rustication stuff helped dull my anger a bit. But it was his funny antics trying to stop Anokhi that made me forgive him. But his capacity to be soooo hurtful worries me. It's funny to me that other viewers don't see his potential to be as bad as Anokhi's dad and brother. He's not physically abusive, but he is verbally really bad.

I have no idea how you've watched it so many times and can stay neutral with ShaKhi.

Ah! i am so glad to read this.That flick did not go unnoticed.

He was in so much pain, talking about his abandoned childhood to his mother that a tear fled from his eye.He didn't want anyone to see it so that FLICK happened 😍😍.It was a very hearttouching scene.

Even i was so mad at Anokhi that day.I was thinking cant she see his tears , his pain ?Why is she behaving so insensitive? But my anger for both of them lasts one day 🙂.

There's sooooo many acting choices that KV does that makes my heart ache for Shaurya. His teary eyes get me! The one tear falling when he watches that mother/son. When he says "Nanaji" under his breath the first time he sees his grandfather in Kapurthala. The look in his eyes when Shaan gives Anokhi ashirwaad. One of the reasons I can never stay mad at Shaurya for long is that he's such a broken child on the inside that just craves unconditional love and acceptance.

I could write a thesis at this point about how Shaurya and Anokhi fill in the missing pieces in each other's hearts!
