Poor baby, my first serial was saraswatichandra by Jennifer winget, thank goodness I didn't watch much TV, only ekta show I watched was naagin season 1,and after that I swore I would never watch any of her shows, I feel gul is also repetitive, I watched ishqbaaz for a year I guess and then I gave up, the new show of gul on Sony TV ishq par zor Nahi, she repeated some of the things from ib like fhat the whuck here used as what the fudge, and the glass of car breaking but I watch clips of it here and there in insta because
I like Param Singh from his sadda haq days so yeah, I got attached to very few shows like bepannah, yeh rishte hain pyaar ke and obviously SAAKK but unfortunately my previous favourite show got scrapped and this time my trauma is real, I'm scared for our show but still trying to be optimistic π
ITV is traumatizing, but it's like I keep coming back to an abuser.
I've watched Gul shows since Geet, IPKKND, and QH......but then I learned my lesson and did not become attached to IB at all.
I've watched EK since her "K" days, but never really attached to her shows either. I would just watch the same formulaic stuff until the love story, then leave during the first leap :-) All her shows had a leap post confession and suhaagraat, so the FL could come back with a child the ML never knew about.
I watched SWC too(love Jen), the old school young shows like DMG and MJHT, also watched Dil Dosti Dance and Sadda Haq(loved Sandhir). I love Sanaya Irani, so I watched Rangrasiya. I really really loved EDKV too...love Namik Paul.
I've really done the rounds of ITV. The same old love stories. Yet, SAAKK felt fresh. I'm sad that COVID has derailed the ability to tell this story fully.
But at the end of the day, I'm just happy to be entertained, while the world has gone to hell. It's my bright spot!
