Exactly recently they are missing out on the consistency in Anokhi's character, one day she thinks something and day she says exactly opposite of that. Today's scene with Aastha was good but here also when Aastha mentioned about Shaurya gaining consciousness her reaction was blank, no emotion at all and some of her lines about Shaurya were misplaced too. The decision she took about choosing her dreams over everything was bang on but again she didn't feel the need to talk to Shaurya once before giving up on their love.
I think this is what makes the show different..none of the characters are completely right or wrong, everyone has flaws. And all these flaws, misunderstanding are real and we would have either seen it around or experienced it. Anokhi is behaving like any 20 year old would..anxious and scared to fall for a guy who's thoughts and expectations are something she has been running from.
Shaurya views are/were regressive..but I can't blame him as he has seen Gayatri and BM devoting time and attention to kids, while his mom has left him, and reason told to him is her career. Who will not be traumatised with such an experience?
Anokhi has always seen a patriarchal set up, and she has always seen her mother/sister suffer due to it. Again, she is traumatised by her own experience and hence her reluctance is totally expected.
However, yes, there fatal flaw is miscommunication and judgement. They may have attraction, but they definitely don't have trust on each other, and so the relationship is destined to fail.
I am really looking forward to seeing what happens next,..as knowing Shaurya he will lash out and withdraw after hearing Anokhi's side rather than addressing her concerns, and knowing Anokhi even if he explains her she will not believe him, as she has already passed the judgement that he is irredeemable and she has trust issues.
Such complex characters!! This is why I adore the show!
