you are right.but friend of mine told me in the south version even though because of dev shiva had to marry the girl he dislikes he never got angry with dev.But she is happy that in hindi shiva n dev are fighting.you know...in hindi they are showing that its Shiva who cares for dhara the most.but in south versions all the 3 brothers loved n cared for dhara equally.But I am happy that like in south versions all the couples are given equal screen space like in the original version which people wished to see in IB.another thing is that many south indians also like hindi PS because hindi version is more romantic.
