That's what I am saying .. How can someone all of a sudden turn cold and not show/reflect any turmoil on the face thats brewing inside?? That's why I felt the disconnect. Iqra did show some subtle expressions which I noticed but I couldnt connect to Mahi here unfortunately.

Yes, the director is the culprit here, the conflict in Mahi could be shown in a more polished way but well, I think he just wanted to project that Mahi herself is in denial. Because when Feedi holds her and talks about how his instincts overtakes anything he sees, she was clearly moved, could not see through his eyes, she struggled to keep herself rigid there.

I think at this point I personally understand Farhad more than I understand Mahi, he pleaded to meet because he clearly was in denial, denial of the fact that Mahi was happy with the wedding. In 10th episode he says that 'Main nahi maanta ke woh khush hai iss rishtey se', so he surely believed that Mahi was just doing it because that is what the most practical thing was at this point. Yes, I think in the first confrontation she called out his class and since then he did believe that class difference is a huge barrier but, today it was more like she wants a guy only with money and power, and then equating his love with money, that was the bottom line for the baddua, I think he himself answered the question when he said 'I always thought you to be different than rest of the world'. I agree with you Feroze was excellent, if anyone deserves the credit for this character being so talked about then it is him and the writer.

To me, him not accepting that she has agreed to the marriage is certainly disbelief.

@bold: I agree. I missed this slight connection that now finally he has come to realize that she doesnt want him because he doesnt have material things to give her compared to what taimoor can give her.

Yes, I think we all are in the same page when we say that Feedi was in disbelief, he probably could not process that in day 1 he confessed and she rejected and on the very same evening she accepted someone else's proposal, it came off more as a way to shut him off, he must have thought that Mahi was choosing the safest route to not rile up her dangerous brother. Exactly, thank you finally someone agrees with me when I say that for Feedi Mahi was just perfect, a perfect human being, just like Rida was and Nissar uncle was, they all validated him for what he was, Rida called him a brother, Nissar uncle called him a son, Mahi called him a 'friend', in his head, he thought he has already earned that place where Mahi will look beyond the status and class. So yes from 'bade log itne bure nahi hote' to 'takke ki jaazbaat aur ek mamuli sa dil', hence the transition of disbelief to plain disgust.

Farhad made the decision of walking away, infact promised to walk away if Mahi could convince him that she is not in love with him, so there was no need of deciding again, wasn't it clear when Fakeera reminded him that 'he gave his word' and even Mahi told him that she kept his zidd so he shall keep his word, so I think the walking away was fine, I would not tolerate it had he stayed back.

And that was fine. It was a condition he had put forth - she held up her end of the condition and now it was his turn. But again, him agreeing to him disappearing .. felt like a scene was missing

I think they might show something in the next episode, but he is already in the station, maybe he just sneaked out because someone like Dilawar or Sajal catching him while leaving would just make it more difficult for him.

Same here, I am watching it as a standalone show, and I believe if it has been successful then it definitely deserved it. Feroze's name and KAM title both were very good decisions from the business POV, and it only worked in the show's favor I think. Yes, they did lack in making Mahi's character a more consistent one, but well, we all have been complaining and now I think we are used to it. However, from the past 2 episodes Mahi's character seems to have more depth and sense than she ever made, so yeah it is a progress😆

Oh absolutely ! she has begun to show her character progression. In retrospect, her character progression was always there .. she was at a sub-par level whereas Farhad was at par .. Today he has risen above it and she has reached the par level .. Not sure if I made any sense !!

About her being cold and emotionless, I think that was the entire idea right? She had to be rigid and tough so that she convinces him that whatever he believes is just his delusion, had she not been emotionless, he would right away read through her.

I disagree here - I still feel that her turmoil should've been shown to us, not him by turning her back to him & mouthing those cold dialogues. Yes averted gaze and admitted to him for not meeting his gaze to basically mislead him into believing she doesnt reciprocate his feelings .. those were some heart piercing dialogues !! Her heart breaking over his pain & baddua .. all believable .. but not her cold demeanor when facing him ..

@bold: Oh most certainly - she was very much comfortable in his presence ! You feel comfortable with someone only when you trust and/or like them.

He too has seen the extent to which the women are guarded from outside men. so his conclusions were well derived. Just that he came here delusional assuming she loves him & hence afraid to admit his love, unaware that she hasn't reached that stage yet!

Since the prior couple episode they have established her feelings well - indifference -> shock -> denial -> guilt -> love. And so today her helplessness & her pain was evident of having lost him, finally, by pushing him away from her ..

Yes, infact she has always been comfortable around him, even back in lahore when she barely knew him. It is strange because Mahi never had male friends, she was not allowed to have boyfriends, but she was visibly comfortable with Feedi and even confided in him. And today it was clearer that no matter what, she will always be comfortable near him

@bold: You said it all.. She probably did not realize or did not decipher that his going away would affect her, but today it did, and for a millisecond her face did say that 'Ohh he actually left'? ..
