My grandmother is no more

I was very close to my paternal grandmother and she passed away today evening. Still not come to terms with it. It was not because of COVID.

She lived till the ripe old age of 98 and was an exceedingly strong, determined, and sprightly old lady. She had many qualities worth emulating.

I loved her a lot. Don't know how to accept this, but accept I must.

I never had a grandmother they died before I was born. So celebrate the fact that she lived a long life and you knew her. I know it’s hard but life is difficult. The ugly truth is that we all die and hopefully we are going to a better place where we are happy. Sorry to hear this. Stay strong

So sorry for your loss. Grand parents who live longer actually become much more closer to us than even the parents. I have the first hand experience of my losing my beloved Grandma who lived up to 91 years, a couple of years ago. The only respite is the satisfaction that she got to live a fulfilling and happy life and went away without any complications and difficulty. Minty,your Grandma will always be there with you in the form of her blessings. Please take care of yourself!🤗
