@bold - exactly this..and that is why I dont see a lot of justification in the things he does..though I understand that a tragedy in a person's life can impact an individual differently ans Raghav needs to see that it doesnt have to be a negative one..

Well his recent actions have had a bit of a polarizing effect and a lot of people have reacted strongly to it to the point of walking away from the character for good.

I am here for their journey. I accept him for who he is today and will watch him grow and change with time.

Because through her Raghav felt that maybe his mistrust of women didn't have to be a blanket thing. She seemed different and he wanted to trust her, he wanted to give in to the temptation of lowering his guard with her, which he did. More importantly, he was never interested in her for being a 'woman' per se, rather her personality attracted him. Don't know if that makes sense.

He’s everything wrong with a man but in a funny way, it’s nice to watch this character maybe because I have high hopes from him, from his character progression. And Sai. He’s terrific with emotional scenes and from the first epi to now, he’s also more comfortable with longer dialogues. It does take a guy time to adjust with the kind of language required of him. When it comes to close ups, every muscle of his face is acting. And the eyes...I don’t want to start. I started watching just after watching a random YouTube video (out of the blue completely), where his eyes held so much depth, almost like an ocean in his eyes. A good actor makes a character, sometimes rises above it. Too early to say, but this guy is rising above the character and it’s a reason we cannot stop watching him. For once, like you said, TV is revolving it’s story around a broken man. Not just a broken woman.

Like SRK in Darr or Anjaam. He was bad, but it was a different experience altogether to watch him laugh and die!

Completely agree. A great actor is one who can tell you a million things without uttering a single word and he's got a great grasp of his craft in that area. I find it fascinating how Raghav comes to life in every episode because I am 100% sure Sai does his homework and adds his own flavor to make it work. I am still hoping for the same from Shivani at some point.

One good thing about Raghav's character is that while he's an alpha male, he shows a lot of traits that toxic masculinity prevents men from being able to show, such as crying and expressing his emotions, pain, etc. I know when he falls for Pallavi and they start talking in depth, the floodgates will open not just when he talks about his difficult past and pain, but also when he hears about Pallavi's and starts to feel her pain too. I can't wait for those tracks!

His enmity and their challenge... it wasn't serious to him anymore, just a game in which he got to rile her up and enjoy her angry bird reactions 😆 And now he's disappointed that even this girl isn't a good person like he thought, he feels let down What he doesn't understand is that she's still the same woman, it's his bias making him seeing her in a bad light

Even now, a part of him knows deep down that she's not capable of what he is accusing her of, but he just wants to keep his eyes closed and stay in the safety net of his delusions Rehne do, he can't fool himself forever 🤔

Agree with everything. He didn't have any expectation except that she was somehow disproving his theory that all women were cheaters and untrustworthy. He feels as let down by himself as by her.

Safety net of delusions. I love that! Perfect description.

She can and she will say no. Once that haze of madness goes away, he will know where his boundaries are with her and that he can't force such things, just like he didn't force his mother and sister to live with him, despite all the power and wealth he has.

He's a possessive kid when it comes to Amma. She can't love anyone else but him (and Keerti).

The one in his home where he holds the photo and cries....ahh! I was feeling so bad for him. The one I really found apt for Sai was the scene from the first episode where he comes home, throws that shirt away (the shot was so nice coz it captured the emptiness of his life) and just stands at his doorstep, lost in thought, with a lonely look on his face...We hardly get a calm RR.. He is strong in subtle scenes, if the makers make him go OTT, I think he struggles.....like over crying.

I agree with you that he's better in the subtle scenes and can convey everything with his eyes. I do want him to improve in those extra emotional scenes and that only comes with practice. I think the writers deliberately have those because they want to break stereotypes of men not crying, etc. because they have to be tough guys. It's a recurring theme.

He has just started, practice makes perfect! He's a young, energetic and a willing actor, he's come so far, he'll go far too! I sincerely wish he makes it big!

I agree on the part of men not crying. It's good they show him crying every 5th day or so because this notion of "men don't cry" needs to go and crying men need to be normalized. They're not a wuss, they're humans!

Agreed. He has no reservations when it comes to expressing his emotions. He cries, he wants to be happy, he wants to be loved and he is not hiding this fact from anyone. His soft side exists together with his alpha male qualities. I am not a fan of toxic masculinity (e.g. Kabir Singh - I had a headache and stopped watching...not my idea of a man at all) but RR so far has not shown these traits. He's angry, he's stupid, he's rude but toxic...not yet I guess, at least for me. For a man who holds the worst assumptions of a woman, he is quite accommodating of independent women. Deep inside, he likes strong women and he even admits that he did think pallu was different. Kabir singh type of men cannot look beyond their control and possessiveness, it's infuriating. I mean, "Kaun touch kiya.." how do girls swoon over this? I'd be running in my high heels

I can't wait for realization to hit him, trample him and revive the real him. I hope the makers do justice. These two actors are fire crackers when together, hope their potential is maximized.

That scene at the end of the first episode is one of my all-time favorites.
