He did not react...ya I should say koi farak nahi pada usse...balki he was pareshaan that what samaaj will do to bonditha...so he was desperate to save her from society some how...so he was not in a position to observe...

Later he suggests her to go to dolhousie...bcz if she is here... society will harm her...he says I don't want you to go away from me..but has to...it's ok..we will be near from heart..and will talk daily through telephone and talk through letters...

But we lost old bonditha...now she just says..

Aapkeliye rishtha hi thoda.. Tulsipur tho chod nahi sakthi??..

Vese she called him pati..stopped...birist..stopped finally said barrister Babu..Ani felt bad for that..

Ani insulted bon on marriage day ,bon for ani happiness finished the whole relation and without telling her anyone she removed all suhagan nishani showing now she is unmarried not even fighting for it there has been change in her emotions u will see

Now she has ultimate respect for ani elariese she used to show rights on him which is over ,she faced a lot and hats off to her self respect for going away those married things like this and moving on
