I think he was too shocked to react , He tried to speak up but was shushed by Bari Maa.Actually he kept trying through out but it was a well planned move.

There was chain of actions Bari Maa kept doing one after another that he was not expecting .Like calling Anokhi on stage and asking her to feed cake to the couple.I felt his brain was stuck on one point he has to talk to Anokhi any how and body was numb at that point.

You can tell looking at his face he just wanted to run to Anokhi to assure her nothing is like that what is witnessing.Its a shocker for him as well just like it was for Anokhi.

Well said. He was shocked. He was planning anokhi's bday decided to propose her spent his day with her, make her bday special. First thing he didn't expect his whole family to be there. Second this engagement announcement. It was like a horrible dream for him also. And I am happy he didn't spoke or confront devi infront of public. Even anokhi could not speak anything if such things would have been done by her father.

I think when anokhi will calm down she will understand this thing.

I loved your take bro. These are actual facts. See, a person who has venom in heart would see things from that point of view only. BM and her ego is too high to even look through the actual things. She did really think ki jo Shastha ke saath kia, she’ll do with ShaKhi too and Shaurya would agree to her without any ifs and buts. However, Shaurya’s love is true this time aur jab pyaar sacha hota hai toh you fight all the odds till you’re with the person you love because you can’t just think of life without them. You exist but you don’t live. Same goes with ShaKhi. They’ll be surviving but not actually living life and so, to live life, they’ll fight for their love and all the people who try to separate them.

Aastha sensed even Anokhi’s love for Shaurya. Motherly instincts are never wrong. I’m very sure she’s here to fight for them and would do everything in her power to unite these two

Remember when went extra miles to stop Anokhi's admission in SIAC .Was not able to stop.He was so mad ,breaking things .Came back home real late. Everyone was expecting Shaurya would not go to college and would be cranky.

He surprised them all.He joined them at breakfast table seemed over joyed .So i think its gonna be like that only .But he would not stop pursuing Anokhi.

Bari Maa would keep thinking he has moved on and he would surpise them again saying he is already married to Anokhi.
