US is sending vaccine raw materials to India finally

I would like to take back my previous post cursing US.

They have agreed to send vaccine raw materials today.

I thank the US govt for their support. God bless.

It's a horrible time as I cannot watch anymore of my loved one dying.

We all need to stand together and beat this virus.

So the US gov. done with their revenge? They’re satiated and willing to help now...

So is this vaccine like flu vaccine that you have to get every year?

Yeah US government has lot of free time in their hands to specifically target India of all things .

Its 2 doses now and since its a new virus, its uncertain how long the results will prevail.

But initial trials show us, atleast 6-7 months till now. Only time will tell

They read out the statement officially yesterday.

But due to international pressure and seeing the horrible situation in India, they have agreed and I am thankful for that

Yes it’s a genuine question

They say you will and can get it even after vaccination

So I don’t understand... I thought vaccination means U never get it (there are exceptions)

US doesn’t work that way. India first asked and US offered the vaccines instead of the raw material but when India resubmitted their appeal, after due diligence US obliged India’s appeal.

No I meant that US would have done the same if it was some other country and it’s not driven by political agenda specifically targeting India. Still awful that US would do and it’s a good thing they are allowing export .

Dr fauci said the vaccine is known to be effective for at least 6 months.

Some doctors are also suggesting that people will need booster shots every year....🤡
