Think about a scenario like this- Avesh took 3 wickets in the regular innings and would normally be the highest wicket taker.
Axar had two in the regular innings, but also took wickets (say two more, so his total is 4) in the super over. Would Axar's super over wickets count while determining who took the most wickets in the game or not?
