That's what have read about the KD plot. That wasn't exactly sympathy on her part but just a genuine care, concern n affection towards her husband.

Here the thing isn't about Sai, she had to come bcoz his life was at stake, how would she hold herself back then? Its about Virat. I think, he was kind of on self-destruction mode obviously out of the pain of the break up and ended up putting himself in danger's way.

I have never watched KD and never read what's happened in KD, so I have no idea regarding it.
