So I was watching a random old episode this is the one where they all apologize to imlie and aparna tells imlie this ke "galtiyon ko yaad rakh ke parivaar nahi chalta iss liye galtiyon ko bhool jao pyaar konyaad rakho parivaar ko yaad rakho"

It stood out to me caz where is this seekh in matter of malini lol 😆 malini didi ko toh sirf or sirf galityan hi dikh rahi hai har kisi ki pyaar naam ki cheez nahi which is why she was meant to doom from day 1.. when has she when one occasion if anyone can remind me jahan she has kept pyar and parivaar above her.. that woman doesn't even know P of pyaar or parivaar and yet wants her relationship to sail haha.. forget parivaar ka pyaar ke that comes 2nd this woman doesn't even remember adi ka "pyaar" whatever that was meant to be and look past his mistakes.. she has been only busy accusing him and making him the mujrim.. how can she even think of things getting better when there is absolutly no thought given to him no consideration and the only demand is grovel. Lol

It is also intresting caz now nobody is trying to explain this to malini not even aparna nobody has the guts to explain this very basic thing to make sure a parivaar survives .. given that woh stupid daadi might have some duniyadaari kinsamjh I would have expected Them to explain but nope haha

Nice post Fary.

I recall this episode as I had rewatched it recently. it is when they all think Imlie made off with the jewelry and call the police. Adi is the only one who says that she cannot have stolen anything. He recalled how honest she was when he bought the diya for Rs.20 from NN and he said some harsh words when Imlie came to return the money to him.

Looks like the T's have also developed goldfish memory after Ddidi entered the house. All they can think or see is her dukh bhari face and her constant complaints ki Aditya itna badal gaye hain... always it is him who has changed. These people want to make her feel welcome and are quick to side with her.

Why they let go... bcoz she is their bahu. Seems all these seekh and gyaan is only for the non bahu jivan in the house. 🤣

It has become clearer that she only cared for Adi to buzz around her like a bee.. at all times. The family never mattered and have never seen her take the initiative. When Adi called her to say he has been awarded the prize for his article on SK, her first words to him, I will come to meet you and let us go out to lunch to celebrate. When Adi said he was in the office, then she changed and said come home straight and meet me FIRST. She planned the party and had everyone help.. making sure she got credit for the same.

IN the initial PD visit, it was her insecurity making her call Adi all the time and she was saying things like you are going away far from me... and heard Imlie on the phone to take him on that fateful cycle ride.

Wonder if all this will come out. I do want Adi to realize that it was Imlie who wrote that garam tawa poem.

As for the T's, they do not think about forgive n forget as grahan does not let them give a moment's peace, as she is full of nautanki and EA.

This show has some very good dialogues on family/ relationships and that one was so on the point. Any family, be it nuclear or joint, cannot survive if we want it to function on grudges alone. There is just no way a unit sustains if all everyone can think of is to score points by holding someone accountable for mistakes. Chaturvedis being the classic example. They have everything but not the pyaar needed for them to thrive.

Imlie 18 saal ki hai so they thought use seekh ki zaroorat hai. Malini didi toh accomplished hai. Unko kya gyaan dena, woh khud sabko line pe laati hain 😆Jokes aside, I think it is all about the equation. With Imlie they think they can tell anything. With Malini, as long as she’s there, Aditya and the family is plain fortunate according to them. But I really do hope someone tells her why it is wrong to do something as drastic as what she might end up doing next week.

Malini had everything given to her on a platter so she does not value something like love. She will always find faults in everyone and everything because her wish is of utmost importance to her and not keeping a family together. She just does not understand the concept.

If you want to loved then love others first. For Malini, love is all about taking not giving. She is all worried about only... I have invested my life in 7 years relationship,so I deserve to be compensated properly.

Iss baat par toh Adi v chidh gaya ki.....Adi ne v time investment kiya toh fir dono mein mutual understanding nahi hai kyun?

I get it she has everything on platter.. I guess my problem is exactly that the thanklessness and just no consideration and no taking onus and the queen behavior 😆 and not one person not one person pointing out her faults..

Anyway this was more like my weekend musing the dialogue just felt so appropriate for the current situation and why malini didi is failing hence made a random post 😆

I agree one can't just survive any relationship based on grudges alone it is only zehar than and better to quit and break off but alas didi ko yeh kaun samjhaye..

And I always found so weird ke bas ek ladki ki awaaz bg main sunli and she assumed ke uss ko cheT kar dia ke gaoon yehi karna gaya hai matlab what about the great 7 saal ki duhaayi man and it was toh very beginning too and she was being omg phone nahi kia toh cheat hongaya.. she had 0 trust to begin with so it keeps doing my dimaag ka dahi how they survived what made adi think this was logical .. how the hell did ne not felt suffocated all this time . How can one do it for 7 long years wow🤪🙄

The person who writes dialogues is good and he had written for IB too, came up with words like michmichi, oh my maata etc.... and great lines.

Imlie has the same writer and he has written awesome family lines that are real and choo karta hai dil ko.

All the lines uttered by Imlie and her samajdhaari when she spoke about the bahu setting up her duniya in Adi's room when Anu complained about it, to her countering Adi's arguements in PD and many others are good.

True that we cannot sustain a relationship or family by holding grudges. Compromises must be made to run the family, adjustments are necessary. Holding someone else responsible for all your mistakes will work for a time but then eventually as Adi mentioned, truth is like a ray of sunshine that will peek out, even when covered up. Malini has been excellent as concealing her true self so far, but eventually her truth will be exposed.

Appu and divy write for many shows most of them actually but baat wohi hai only certain characters they have made are able to say those things with the way they were meant to be said.. most of the time they sound khokkkle because actions do not support the word or actors cannot say them in a convincing manner or rest of writing doesn't support it. I have seen the whole formula of naming things doing them like anika did post IB and nothing worked.. then the whole meaningful choti choti simple words main badi baat keh dena but it is ST's delivery her simplicity and her authenticity that makes us take note of these things .. warna yeh bhi formulabohat repeat kar chuke hain but Bina impact before imlie and ST only Nakku could deliver it and pull this level if bholapan and saadgi and that was more than a decade ago.

So basically yahan sab ka hi itna acha setting hua hai be it actors the writers the execution.. it is actual team work hence har cheez on point jaise impact chodni chahiye chodhtii hai

+100 Bold true

Post IB, think I gave up watching ITV shows for a while and was off the forum as well, till Imlie brought me back. 😆 The ending was too traumatic to bear...🤣

Nkas and SC pulled off their lines and bantering very well, it was what kept us all watching them even when the going got tough... it is the same here with ST and GM, who do the back n forth so brilliantly. It is great team work all around and appreciate the efforts.

TRUE.. they have seriously elevated these characters with their performances which is why we are so connected and it disappoints more caz they deserve so much more accolades then they do get ad they are Hands down the finest "actors" on ITV right now and yeah yeah I know har kisi ko apne fav best lagte hain but am saying it without any bias and with my vast experience through medium they are 2 of the finest actors who are doing such a marvelous job and bringing life to their characters and not only ST and GM but the entire ensemble...
