And same shaadi hoti hi nahi.. as GM said in one 8f his recent Interviews he took.it up caz asi is human and isn't treated as some God by the TV standards where the trend is /was main leads are always bhagwans haha.. he enjoys playing that and bringing those shades out hehe. And we all can see it in his performance too.. 😆

Aww yes Imlie's smile.wws awww but ohir bhi I wished it had the brightness it usually has she was still kaafi distracted and even BK ke kehne ke baad bhi ke khul ke smile kar beta bhi wou aise na kar paayi.. and imlie beta can you get fever too caz babusahib is ignoring you too darn much and mujhse woh sehan nahi ho raha

@bold...Ekdum sahi pakde hai!!! we are so used to seeing MAHAAN leads who will sacrifice and put themselves last and think about their family and commitments and Sachai and blah blah!!! Or we have two timers who would be doing that forever happily!! In fact in this show most of the negative shade character have a positive lining...Like Mrs C...She has a backstory which would justify her treatment to Dev(Not to anybody else, though)

Dev who seems to be a good man but is actually the "sutradhaar" of this whole problem...He is not only coward but also highly selfish and self centered and adulterous!!

@Imlie and fever....She has seen Adi getting married, being lovey dovey with Malini, insulting her, loathing her for months...so it is not likely that Adi babu ke ignoring se usko bukhaar aa jaye...The girl is made up of stronger things..and thats why she is Imlie...who raced against death to Save adi( I just caught up with their gun point shaadi epi😆)We wouldnt like her if she fainted just because Adi returned a day later from some assignment!

Hi all,

Sorry for maaring entry like this, but I read about Adi being not the typical grey character and want to add something. Not per se about the grey part but definitely about the character in general.

You all must have discussed this before, but can I just say that Aditya is one of the most REAL characters I have ever seen on ITV.

I won’t go into much of comparison, but most of us do know how Gul’s male leads are usually; rich, full of attitude and themselves, who can’t stand people lower than their standards and class. And perhaps male leads in other shows too are like that too.

Aditya is nothing like this at all! Yes woh akdu hai, thoda anger problems bhi hai lekin to me he is not like those other (Gul) heroes. Not that I did not like them, in fact, some major fangirling over some 🙊 but let’s not go there.

Filhaal hum baat kar rahe hai Aditya Kumar Tripathi ke baare mein. Instead of him being the rich guy, he is just another hard working middle class guy who happen to fall in love in with a rich girl. (By now we all know it was not love). And he never had any major issues with her being higher in class. It was just that her mother always made sure to point it out. Warna Adi toh was totally fine with it.

The reason why he behaved with Imlie the way he did, was only because of the sudden wedding that took place. It was not because he hated Imlie for being the kind of girl she is; village, lower in status and class etc etc. So actually he had no issues as such with her character.

Also, Gashmeer is doing a great job portraying this character and bringing life into it 👏🏼 The way Adi speaks, his body language, expressions, emotions and feelings are so well enacted by Gashmeer that you actually feel for him too. This type of guy could be your next door neighbor, could be someone you know because he is so real.

Many male leads start off as this larger than life character and kinda melt down along the way, but Aditya is one of its kind. Not saying that one must agree with him or take his side, that’s a different story. So yeah, I like the fact that he is the different kind of male who has real flaws, deals with issues, struggles that one can have in real life too...

And and and... thanks for the update AY. Really hope the story will take a different turn and focus less on the bechari antics.

I forgot to stress another point- the leads have suddenly decided that they do not need to even talk. Imlie has not told Adi that Rupi di knows. Yeh log kya sab ko alag alag batane ke baad ek dusre ko batayenge ki everybody knows- tumhare kitne log huye, humare kitne log? I dont get it, did makers forget filmcity mein kya shoot kiya tha?

@bold 2 : What a contrast right? Imlie kept saying that you are my family and you need to be with me in the award function but Malini ne to ek phone bhi nahi kiya to even ask how they are doing. T’s and surprisingly Badke Kaka was waiting for the call and Malini was busy getting mad at her parents that why did you go there. She did not even bother to ask about anyone else. All she was concerned about was that is Aditya has not come yet to beg her to come back.

The pity party after suicide drama is going to be one hell of an exhausting drama and I just hope they balance them with good Adilie scenes like the past to show that their relationship is still strong, that they are still a team supporting each other through this test and their amazing bond is not drained due to Malini dementor ability.

@bold: Exactly. No matter how many pity parties Malini wallows in, it is clear that she doesn’t care about the Tripathis one bit. Literally every line from her is about when will Adi come to grovel before her since all of this is his fault alone. Lol

So yes, ironic indeed that Tripathis are waiting for a phone call from her while she’s busy berating her own family for going to visit then. Didn’t even ask token haal chaal ki woh kaise hain. 🤔

And then as MB mentioned, Malini was pretty quick to dismiss Imlie as “woh sab mujhe nahin pata” too when her dadi tried to tell her how maasoom Imlie is and how much she loves her. Didi only wants sympathy from everyone but doesn’t actually give a shit about anyone else....claiming Tripathis are also her family or that Imlie is also like a sister too her was always an empty claim 🤷‍♀️.

Her life is only about obsessing over attention from Adi, nothing else.

Adi-Imlie ka I don’t have much hopes of being a team in the aftermath of this suicide drama....it will likely tear them apart further in guilt. Let’s see if the writers manage to defy expectations there but I don’t have high hopes right now 🤔.

Lol arey my wish was for Imlie to describe Aditya through her eyes 😆.....what they’ve shown is Adi describing Imlie through his eyes. Imlie ka description of her Babusahib is still pending 😛....tabhi Bailbuddhi Ts might get ki Adi ko Imlie jaise aur koi nahin samajh paata and there is much more to him beyond the patthar like facade they have all presumed and like to blame for everything.
