RanVeer Drabble: Breaking His Fast!
"Veer, Come and do the rituals for pooja! Time is passing!" Dadisa told Veer as they all were seated in the living room
"Yes dadisa! " He nodded his head while standing up.
"Wait a minute! Why will you do the ritual and for what pooja? " Rani asked as she held his arm, stopping him.
"Rani, today is gangor and i have fasted for you so i have to perform the rituals." He told her to which she got shocked.
"You fasted for me? " She asked.
"Yes! " He told her.
"But wifes fast for thier husbands not the other way round! " She said not understanding the reason behind his fast.
"Rani you are human, not a super girl! You were kidnapped so how would you fast? "
"Really? And why did you let me eat food at that restaurant on our way! I could have forgot it but you should have stopped me so that my fast doesn't break! " She countered back.
"You are weak now Rani, you were illtreated and kidnapped so i wouldn't have let you fast in this condition." He told her in his typical doctor tone.
"This also doesn't justify the fact you fasted for me and not me. It's our first gangor and.." She tried to explain but was cut off in between by him.
"Shh.. Enough! You fast for me or i fast for you, its the same thing. And Rani, you tell me, what will i do with a long life when i won't have you in it with me? So to make it equal, i am also going to fast for you."
She still looked unconvinced and turned to look at Rajmata.
"Rajmata how did you let this happen? You let him fast in my place! Why? " She complained like q five year old girl.
"Bahurani, that time we were all scared for you, so i let him keep the fast.. " Rajmata begin yo explain when Veer intervened in between.
"Dadisa why are you justifying when it was solely my decision! "
"Yes and you didn't see those bandages on your head and and hand before fasting! " Rani taunted while turning towards him.
He looked down like a kid getting scolded for his mistake.
"Anyway Rani, i am on fast and i haven't eaten or drank a drop of water since morning. " Veer said quitely after a moment to grasp her attention which he successfully managed.
"Uhh Rajmata let him perform the rituals this time! Next time only i will do it! " She said making everyone smile at her.
"Ok Bahurani!" Rajmata said and walked towards the mansion's temple area followed by RanVeer.
Rani quitely observed as he performed the pooja and smiled.
Once the pooja was done, it was time to break his fast so they went to dining area.
Rani pulled a chair for him to which he gave her an amused look.
"I have fasted not that i am ill! There's a difference Rani! " He told her.
"Do not waste your energy and sit Doctor Sahab! " She said pointing towards the chair.
He shook his head before he made her sit on the chair and he himself sat on his knees, near her on the floor.
"Shhh! Now you will sit here quitely. Enough scolding me for a day. " With that he stood up and served food in a plate.
He then again walked up to Rani who was watching him intently., sitting on his knees, again on the floor. He forwarded her the plate of food.
"Break my fast Rani!" He softly said to which she blushed profusely.
She tried taking the plate from his hand to which he shook his head.
"I am holding it, you just feed me, Rani! " He said to which she nodded her head.
"You are being stubborn doctor sahab! "
"Maybe it's your quality rubbing off on me. " He replied with an amused face before eating the morsel from her hand.
