Last year, you could essentially bank on one of their top four (Rohit, QdK, SKY, Ishan) scoring come what may.

QdK is struggling on spinning tracks, as is Ishan, and it's put an extra burden on Rohit and SKY. Doesn't help that Hardik is not at his best and doesn't bowl too, and Bumrah isn't quite at his miserly best either.

Compare this to Bangalore, where every one of their top four is suddenly scoring (Paddikal, Kohli, Maxwell and AB), and it explains why Mumbai are where they are in the table.

Their middle order isn’t performing well too
