I respect that you are team raghav. I too root for the couple, I am basically team Raghvi. I don’t get mad at either of them, kbhi bhi. Because I see them as two different, flawed, layered human beings and try to put psychological perspective to their behaviour. It’s just a complicated itv story, nothing else. Will watch it until I keep seeing both of them growing together. I totally love these two, the actors and the characters. ❤️
on the other hand I want to make sure that you don’t think the same way about real life. I am assuming that you are in your early 20s? Pardon me if I am wrong. @bold. In real life if it happens, we call it the Stockholm Syndrome and it’s a psychological condition 🤣
On a serious note, ye sb love-hate stories/quotes etc look good/intriguing in books/TV but irl, if you ever come across a toxic person like that (girl/boy); you pack your bags and you run as fast as you possibly can. Because real life is so much more layered than they can ever show on tv and it does more harm than good. It has larger implications. And take my word for it, you really don’t want that. (Saying by experience)
To everyone else who’s miffed with Raghav today, guys it’s good that you find this behaviour wrong and I am proud of y’all.. It shows that you will not let it happen to you or anyone else near you. More power to you ladies.❤️ (Also taking in consideration the fact that you have also called out pallavi whenever she passes her judgements blindly on Raghav. I also don’t appreciate pallavi slapping Raghav because I believe it’s not okay to cross your limits with anyone, irrespective of the gender. There are better ways to do things.) But it’s only a story, and let’s treat them as characters who are very flawed. Now it’s pallavi’s choice if she ever pardons him for his behaviour today. Is she willing to take in all the toxicity and hope for a better future with him. Maybe someday she will have it in her heart to forgive him and his good overpowers his bad. After all, forgiveness is needed for your own mental well-being too, not only for others. It’s only a character, let’s look at her like that and enjoy the story as long as we can.
Because the fact is, We all are educated here, capable of differentiating good from bad. We know Raghav’s behaviour today was intolerable and we are not going to idealise this behaviour by a man in our lives. Win win.
Haan, problem arises when people start idealising the behaviour because you know, he’s the “hero”. Also true for the FL, she acts all vulnerable, compromising, loving, tolerating all insults and people think it’s the way a girl supposed to behave. Especially the teens are very impressionable and the old trp aunties, well they are just toxic themselves. If that’s your stance, then you are right for calling out the makers on such portrayals- toxic FL and meek FL.
Idealisation is the problem, not the portrayal. Let’s teach our younger ones at home to tell right from wrong, and let’s try to have more valuable discussions with the elderly. ❤️
With love 🌼
