I don't think they will do another KalMa divorce. I think new entry Param will be the main kingpin of the drug gang. I feel he is the one that hit AS on the head. He wants the drugs to be smuggled to US and he wants his name to be kept out of it. And I strongly feel after Kalyani catches Sunita and cracks the drug gang, she will be promoted to DM again and Param will try to get close to her to take advantage of her position.

And Param will use the differences between KalMa to get close to Kalyani. Definitely, this custody battle will create issues between KalMa.

But I also feel if KalMa pregnancy happens in this track, I feel pregnancy will be important in keeping them together though they are figiting.

Malhar's "duty comes before all else" attitude is why Kalyani goes to her mother to share her problems instead of him, especially if Pillu is at risk.

Not saying she's always 100% right, but she tried her best to reason with him, and even if after them signing the adoption papers Kallu had surrendered herself to the police, Malhar would have, I suppose, collected proves to find out whether that cop really died due to the wound she gave him or something else.

They could have made sure, between the four of them (Kalma and Anusar, all people of law), to find a way to keep Pillu safe from Atharva.

But nope, Malhar wants everything on his own rules, even if it affects his family life and his kid's well-being, only to prove what an upstanding and honest cop he is!

This very attitude has cost him in the past, as Kalyani reminded him, but he won't listen, will he?

Honestly, if Kalyani left him, I wouldn't blame her.... she has taken enough crap from him as it is over the years.

In this case, I think Kalyani is getting some bad advice from Anu and she is being stubborn since the issue has become about Pillu, and in retaliation, Malhar is also being stubborn. In a way, I don't blame Malhar, he doesn't know that Athu is back so he doesn't understand the gravity of the situation and why he has to sign the adoption papers asap.

In this case, I don't feel this is an issue of duty. I think he wants to know what happened, he is using the adoption papers as leverage to extract the truth from Kalyani. He said so himself, that unless you tell me the truth, I will not sign the papers. This is not an issue of duty. He is trying to help Kalyani and telling Commissioner that we have to be fair in our investigation. Commissioner keeps asking him if Kalyani ends up being the murderer, what will you do, that is the time he is saying, if she is the murderer, then I will arrest her. Can't blame him for that.

As I said in previous posts, there are severe trust issues on both sides, especially Kalyani's and rightfully so (Malhar is responsible for those, he's doubted her a few too many times for anyone to believe he now wouldn't do the same again, that's why she's afraid of confessing... but left with no other choice, she at least wants to make sure Pillu is in safe hands).

I know we all disliked Avni, but I want to know what happened to her, at least even in flashbacks. Most likely she went to jail after trying to frame Kaka in the marital rape case and in the murder of Hari. And Kaka got his license back (since he is practicing law again) and a divorce from her.

The actress who played Avni confirmed that she is no longer part of THR. LOL one of her fans is even trying to boycott the show since she is no longer a part of it LOL.
