It has been 3 months they both tied the knot, much to the displeasure of her family, but his family, well they were happy, Pallavi had been auspicious to them, the day she entered the Mansion, it turned into a home. Though a marriage of convenience or rather hatred initially, Pallavi has taken her responsibility very seriously. And Raghav, well the day he realised what a grave mistake he committed, he was trying hard to ask for forgiveness. His wife would not forgive him, but she wasn't cold either, not anymore. The dyamics of the relationship in the first two months had changed dramatically in last one since Raghav had know she was not guilty of any of the crimes he accused her for. Now the tables have turned. It was Pallavi now whose words ruled the house, not that anyone in the family minded.
"Raghav, you really think you can make her wear this much of jewellery?" Pallavi said looking at hundreds of necklaces and other ornaments lying on her bed. It was Keerti's wedding.
"Anna to pura stock yaha utha k le aate.." Farhad shook his head
"So what? She's my only sister.. and.." Raghav began in his defence but was cut very gracefully by his wife
"The weight of them is more than the weight of my nanad, why do you even try venturing into women's department?" She rolled her eyes. He looked at her, not saying much.
"Raghav, Pallavi, dekho na wo Choreographer aa gya hai.." Amma said smiling wide, calling them out from.the door
"I hate him" Raghav whispered earling a glare from both the women
"Tum log chalo, m ata hai, ye sab wapas bhi to bhijwana hai" he said. Pallvi nodded and followed her MIL.
In the hall...
"2 din bad sangeet h, aap logo ne kuch dance practice ki h ya nahi" the choreographer asked everyone. Raghav looked at him from above the stairs
"Kesi practice, Hume to dance ata he nhi, haan Raghav Pallavi acha dance krta h, Haina.." Amma said
"Nahi Amma, I have lots of work, mjhe nahi karna" Raghav replied as he walked downstairs.
"Ok no problem, Jise ata h well and good, Jise nahi ata use Mai hu na sikhane k ly, Mr. Rao to interested nhi h, Pallavi ji aap meri help krengi Amma and rest of the family ki choreography m?" He smiled looking at Pallavi.
Raghav narrowed his eyes at him, clearly displeased at his choice of word.
"Mereko Mr. Rao bola to usko Mrs. Rao bolne ka na.. chipku" Raghav mumbled under his breath
"Mai?" Pallavi smiled hesitantly
"Good say no" Raghav whispered
"Arey, I will take the lead, you just be my partner, will you?" He said smiling towards her.
Raghav instantly moved his eyes from him to his wife. Waiting for her to decline. To his displeasure, she didn't.
She nodded in yes and smiled.
"Don't you have better things to do, itta kaam pada h wo Kon krega" he said rudely
"Par Mai to wese b koi kaam nahi krti" she Innocently replied.
"Arey Raghav, teko nhi krna h mt kr, use Kyu rok raha h" Amma said
"Exactly, may I" Choreographer moved towards her and asked for her hand. She looked at Raghav and then hesistantly held his extended hand.
"So first, one hand on the waist and other holding your partner's, girls.. yours on the shoulder" He held her hand and Raghav Frowned. His frown deepened when his other hand went on her waist. He clenched his jaw and started leaving.
"Raghav beta ruk to ja" Amma stopped him
"Nahi Amma, mereko kaam h" he passed dead glares to his wife and left for his room.
In the room :
"Anna, what happened. Are you envious?" Farhad who was following him asked.
"What no"
"Anna but, I felt.. you know you can share anything with me" he said
"I.. I was not envious but.. I realized.. I minded" he confessed finally.
"It's obvious, any husband would" he smiled at him
"Anyway, not like she cares"
"She's naive"
"Really why are you taking her side?"
"I think I should leave, call me if you need something" he sighed and left from there
30 min later
Scent laga ke tera partiyon mein jana
Aashiq fasaane ka tarika hai purana
He can hear the song and the laughter coming from downstairs and it was driving him crazy. He can very well identify his wife's giggles.
"Mere sath to har baat pr kaatne ko daudta h, or abhi dekho" He spoke under his breath as he looked at the scene from upstairs.
"Pallavi, Pallavi" He shouted, enough to take their attention
She looked up at him and curled her fingers in what-do-you-want as she continued dancing and laughing with rest of the family
"Mera wallet, mere ghadi..kaha h sab" he was irked, clearly trying to maintain patience
"Whi honge kahi Raghav" keerti interfered
"Nhi h waha Keerti, dhund lia mene..pallavi dhoond k do" he looked at her desperately making her attend to him
"Kya karta hai tum? Apna samaan theek se nahi rakh sakta.." Amma taunted.
"Amma, dekhti hu mai warna ye pure ghar ko sir pe utha lega" she said loud enough for him to hear
"Han utha lega.. ab aake do mereko tumhari tarah faltu time nahi hai.." he said as she climbed the stairs, giving him glares.
In the room :
"Chote Bache ho Kya tum" she said angrily as she opened the drawer
"Oh I am so sorry, did I disturb your little dance night with the wedding planner" he taunted her
"Excuse me" she turned to face him
"What?" He rolled his eyes
"You're impossible, khud dhundho apni cheeze" she stomped her foot on the floor and started to leave when he caught hold of her dupatta and pulled her towards himself. She twirled and landed on his strong chest.
"Mere sath dance krlo" he said as he moved the strands of hair behind her ear
"Tum to bhot busy ho" she frowned
"Tum bhi busy ho jao.. mere sath" he winked at her.
"Raghav, chodo mjhe koi aa jaega, darwaza khula h"
"To problem darwaze ka h?" He grinned.
"No I mean, chodo mjhe" she stammered
"Acha Chalo mere teen sawalo ka jawab dedo or tm azaad" he pulled her closer
"Ok pucho" she sighed well aware there's no point arguing with him.
"Pehla sawaal, tumko yaad h mera dance, so who's the better dancer, me or that chomu you were dancing with" he asked
"Obviously him, it's his job" she reasoned
"Really.."
"yes" she smirked
"Dusra sawal.. ye Jo tum abhi answer Kia Kya wo Sach tha?" He raised his eyebrow
"Bilkul" she giggled hard.
"Okay then, last question.. if it would have been me dancing with someone else like you were, would you still be giggling" he looked into her eyes as he noticed her smile disappeared. She gulped and looked at him trying to breathe normally.
"Ye kesa sawal h"
"Itta soch Kyu rahi ho"
"Okay fine, I won't dance with him anymore" She looked here and there
"That's not the answer to my question, saree ka dukan"
"I won't feel bad about it, but I won't giggle either" she replied, not meeting his eyes
"Chal jhuti" he smirked as he left her free
"Ab chodo mjhe'" she said
"Come out of Raghav land wifey, I already left you" He snapped
"Fine" she blushed as she turned around and closed her eyes tightly embarrassed at the turn of events and it doubled when she saw Amma and Keerti standing on the door laughing
"Amma.." she said shifting his attention towards them
"Anna, Kamse kam darwaza to band krlia kro" keerti said laughing out loud as Pallavi ran from there, leaving him blushing.
