Ashwin hasnt had a good season so far. He has failed so knew ashwin wont work today also.

Yes, but all three of Delhi's previous games this season were at the Wankhede, which isn't exactly a spinners' paradise.

This was their first at Chennai- Chepauk traditionally assists spin, and it's also Ashwin's home ground.
