Part 72

M-Mona said she asked you to stay for the wedding. What did you decide?

Geet wants to say ki, what do you want?

Do you want me to stay in your family event?

But she says this instead:

G-emm...I don’t have any problems, unless...you have...I mean it’s your family event

She says hesitantly while waiting for his reaction

M- You have gelled with my cousins quite well. I am sure everybody will be happy to have you

Geet is like, sabki nahi....mujhe apna apna bataao. I asked about you

But kuch kehti nahi

But she was having the pent-up emotion ki everything will be over

Maan jo washroom gaya tha, washroom se nikla toh dekha

Geet saamne aake khadi ho gayi face to face

He stops on his feet

G-Geet, will you dance with me?

M-What?

He frowns

G- Why didn’t you say this to me during the party? Why don’t you ask me for a dance?

She asks with a straight serious face

Maan is taken aback

M-I..I I thought you don’t want to....I...anyways I am not a good dancer

He starts to walk past her, but she obstructs his path

G-Dance with me now

She thinks; even if they break up, still she wants to fulfil every desire and not keep pent up emotions & desires

M-I...I told you I am a bad dancer...

She starts the music…some groovy number

Let’s down her hair

Starts her tribal dance, demonstrating he can’t be worse than this

Maan can’t help a grin & then a chuckle

She cajoles him to join her

He does a better step than hers and she follows his lead

Next Morning:

All the cousins are surrounding them

'So how did you both break the bed?'

Asks a cousin again

Maan goes to his back memories of last night where both of them were jumping & dancing on the bed with the music

Geet was giggling at the question quite clearly, if she was trying to hide her giggle then it wasn’t successful at all

Cousins toh kuch aur hi soch rahe hain

Maan can’t decide which reason is more embarrassing the real one or the one cousins are guessing

Bidding goodbye to Maan was so difficult as is, she doesn’t want to just pin for him

Geet shifts to the hostel with her friends’ group

Since she had come back from the vacation, she was busy with move and all, but still Maan was always in back of her mind

She would eat, she would think whether he is eating

She lays on the bed, she thinks is he laying too

She would converse with her friends and wonder if Maan would have been part of the conversation

Koi joke suna toh note bana liya ki ye joke Maan ko sunaungi

Geet, raat ko hostel bed pe lete- lete shaanti se Maan aur vacation moments ke baare mein soch rahi thi, creating made up scenarios in her mind

Tabhi cell phone ping hua

Geet kind ke uthi sochke ki shayad Maan ka message hai

Dekha toh uske India mein doctors ke girls gang ka message hai

Geet realizes woh hain jo shuru se Maan ko jaante hain, uske saath interact bhi kiya hai

Girls were gossiping aise hi

Geet texts-

' I think I am in love'

Both girls go –

‘What???’

‘with whom???’

‘OMG!!!!’

They share their shock using plentiful of shock emojis

Geet also sends a laugh emoji at their shock

‘Who is it'?

Girls text again on the group, trying to cajole her to give out more details

Geet replies-

'Maan'

Both girls are like- ye lo!

Khoda pahaad nikla chuha

Ye kya news thi

Geet expected ki iss news se bada big bang hoga, but girls reacted as if nothing happened. They are like-

‘Haan so, tell us something we don’t know’ (eye roll emoji)

‘Faltu time waste mat kar’

Apni friends ke aise casual reaction se toh ulta Geet ko shock lagaa ki-

Was it so obvious between me & him?

Could everybody see it?

Everybody knew and could see love between then, except her?

Was it so evident?

Was she the one who missed that she seriously loved him,and he did too?

Just when I thought these two had finally starting expressing themselves in their unique way but it seems like we go backwards again

Why on earth would maan tell Mona to ask geet ???? Coz he doesn't want to ask her directly, by chance she says no

Why could geet not ask maan , if he wanted her to stay??? Coz she doesnt want to come across as clingy or needy. Coz he feels her travelling to UK was needy behaviour in itself

And what’s the confusion about dating since she is not going back to India since they decided only till the vacation time, ab both are afraid of bringing up the topic and clarifying fearing rejection

Instead of being happy that she is not going back yet , these two are overcomplicating things & working their brains unnecessarily 🤪Ab woh to khaasiyat hai unki

Maan is just been mischievous in his talks with Geet hehhehe isnt he😉

as he wants to spend time alone with her

so he tells her about the Yacht party , just to get her to become jealous at the thought

that he will be away while some party / strippers will be with Maan

but Geet though did not understand his hint she did get possessive telling him

to tell his cousins he is ill

and at this Maan rejoices taking Geet with him to have some quality time

but wow the next day when she finds out there was no yacht party she is annoyed with Maan

and this is Geet her character to get back at Maan if he does wrong to her hahaha aadat se majboor

she does not think about the fact that he just wanted to be with her alone away from everyone jhalli toh wo hai hi

both now knowing the vacation will end soon and both really don't want to go away from each other

but there is ego between them and the fact that Maan does not want rejection

actually becomes difficult because Geet wants him to say something

one great fact is that Geet will be in the UK

waiting to see Maan's reactions knowing Geet will not go back to India
