I mean, this nonstop lockdown is not good for mental health. Those who can afford to travel safely, why shouldn't they? *Especially* since they both recovered from an illness.

They are definitely not committing any crime but can understand why people feel these celebrities are being selfish. Also the country is in verge facing lockdown again. Academic year of students is again wasted, people are losing their means to earn especially small businesses owners because of this lockdown while Celebrities are going abroad for vacation, Political leaders are organising rallies and religious gathering are being held. In between all this a common man is gasping for some relief. Don't you think that is insensitive? And then likes of Tiger are preaching people to stay at home and stay safe while he is out there having fun in Maldives.

Also half of Bollywood has already been infected because they can't place their ass at home. How sure they can be that they won't catch the virus and spread it? Even with all the precautions you never know you might end up spreading the virus. How responsible is this?

These celebs are treated like demigods by public. Whatever they do onscreen or offscreen is celebrated by their fans. Sometimes you expect them to act like the heroes they are made out to be.. But oh well!

They are so narcissistic. I don't think there's anything wrong in going on vacation if you have the resources but stop preaching to people then. Alia was giving lectures on instagram about lockdown and telling people to stay home. Ranbir was arrogantly asking paps why they are not in lockdown when he must have called them himself. It's the fakeness that's so irritating.

Even now, they could have just gone quietly and nobody would have known but they called the paps to notify everyone because they can't live without the attention.

I have no doubt that some of the older stars must be traveling too but they are not attention-crazed like these younger ones are. They don't need to be in the pap pics and the media every single day.

For another, current data shows those who have immunity to virus are also much less likely to spread it.

Plus, we are all human. After back to back deaths in the family and Covid, anyone would want a break. I doubt any of us will decide to sit inside in solidarity with society if we had the means to get out under the circumstances.

They are not spending any money. They are going to get their free sponsored trips. Every other celeb has gone to the Maldives during the pandemic for that reason. If they were paying themselves, they would have all gone to various different locations.

Well you can see it the way you want to see it. I don't think anyone is crucifying them for enjoying their vacation. They will go and have fun while things will continue to be the same in this country. But like I said sometimes you expect them to act like heroes they are made out to be. To be more empathetic.Wont you find it selfish when you are in a room of people with no food to eat and someone is busy munching down a sandwich? It looks like you are only defending Ranbir here when I am talking about every celebrity.

Not only entire India COVID has shaken the entire world. Opportunistic political dispensation, ineffective policies, lax bureaucracy, general apathy towards mass public health from those in the helm of affairs -- it is one, other or multiple reasons for COVID surge everywhere. Callous -- most politicians are, but not everyone is a le Anil Deshmukh or la Mr. Thackrey (who pretends to be clueless to every racket happening under his nose). So no depravity at all.
