Mere dil mein tumhare liye koyi jagah nahi hai ,Sai.
The words which were confined to Sai's deepest part of her heart were all rushing back up like a raging tide now. The man who she once loved till eternity, the man who snatched this very heart and broke it into pieces, was now back infront of her.
Meanwhile, Virat had got a shocker of his life, Sai,his Sai ,for whom he searched like a mad person for 6 long years was standing infront of him, as Sayesha now. What had god in terms for them now? Both were deeply lost when Dr.Ranveer brought them out of their trance.
Dr.Punj had excused himself for a while from there.
Dr.Ranveer: Wow, guys, tum log shaant kyu ho, as in jab bichde hue premi milte hai waise waale vibes arahe hai mujhe, do you know each other?
Sai/Sayesha: (coming out and giving a mock smile to Virat) Jaanti hu,bahut aachi tarah se jaanti hu,infact, aaj agar SAYESHA JOSHI naam ki ek insaan tumhaare samne khadi hai Rajveer toh iska poora credit mein inhe hi deti hu , mera present inke saath juda hue past se toh hai, waise nice to meet you again Mr.Chavan, yaad toh hu na mein aapko, SAYESHA JOSHI.
Virat was dumbstruck by her attitude, this was definitely not his Sai, Sai screamed enthusiasm, but this Sai was an enigma. He could not see what is going on inside her.
Ranveer: Oh wow yaar,nice ,toh tum DCP Chavan ko pehle se jaanti ho.
Sai: Correction, mein inko ACP ke taur pe jaanti thi, ab inka promotion hogaya hai, woh toh hona hi tha rajveer ,itne kaabil jo hai yeh, baaj ki nazar hai inki. Congratulations by the way ,for your promotion. (She extended her hand)
Virat( seeing the tense situation and keeping in mind that Ranveer was there ,took Sai's hand and shook it): Thankyou very much, waise aaj mera mukaam bhi aaphi se hai, Sayesha, aapki gair haazari hi mujhe itne kaam karne pe majboor kiya hai, kyunki aap hi toh thi jisne mujhe apne farz ke alaava bhi khushiyaan hai yeh dekhna sikhaaya tha, par aap gayi, sirf farz hi sab kuch ban gaya.
He said in a dissappointed and apologetic voice. Meanwhile Sai was confused ,He was not mocking her?what did he mean?That she was his happiness? But how can this be?
She was about to get into this when the senior doctor Dr. Punj came back there.
Dr. Punj: oh so,on a conversation with my talented team,Dr. Ranveer, Dr.Raavi, and yes,Dr.Sayesha. the most talented and pride of our institute in our group. Waise I proudly say as the dean of AICD institute of clinical psychology and neural science ki yeh mere career ki sabse honhaar students mein se ek hai.Inke hote hue I assure you that koi problem nahi hoga case mein, she has 100 percent success rate in criminology cases and these matters. We will keep you updated regarding this case, as mujhe pata hai ki case aap head kar rahe hai.
Virat(looking at Sai): Mujhe aapke kaam aur kaabiliyat pe zara sa bhi shak nahi hai Dr. Par, mera ek request hai.
Dr.Punj: Yes, go on.
Virat: Sir, kya yeh treatment or procedure,jo bhi hai ,kya woh mere ghar pe hosakta hai.
Sai(jumping in): Par sir, uski judicial custody hamaare sath hai,aur DCP Chavan ko clause pata hona chahiye ki yeh rules ke khilaaf hai.
Dr.Punj: Sayesha has a point here officer, custody hamaare paas hai till the case is open, par aap aise request ko kyu forward kar rahe hai. Any specific reasons?
Virat: Sir,matter thoda personal hai,actually accused,as in aapki patient ,woh...woh....meri bhaanji hai sir.
Sai was literally shook to the core now. This little girl was Harini, she was ....she was....her niece. The patient was her niece. But how did all this end up like this. Was all OK? Her mind was racing with thousands of questions at once when Dr.Punj shook her out of it.
Dr.Punj: Are you OK Dr.
Sai(in a low voice): sir koi decision lene se pehle I need time to think.
Dr. Punj: okay then, but in my opinion we can think of the possibility? Kyunki agar woh bacchi DCP ki niece hai,family environment have a good effect and majorly safety ke issuestoh safety related matters mein toh issue nahi honge. Cuz, DCP khud unko protection de paayenge. Think about it Sayehsa.
Sai: Sir,we should wait, kyunki woh bacchi....Hari..Harini...Abhi so rahi hai,sedated hai. Pehle,humein normal procedures, regular tests, interactive observations,yeh sab dekhna hoga. Phir hi hum condition ko lekar specify kar sakte hai ki kya karna hai iske baarein mein DCP Chavan ko. But,we can see.
Dr. Punj: Hmm, fine point. We will discuss this and will get in touch with you Mr.Chavan. Hope it's okay with you.
Virat: Thankyou Dr. Punj aur Sayesha.
Sai: Dr.Sayesha Joshi.
Virat then went from there after giving a last hopeful look to Sai and went and sat in his car.
Virat(thinks):bappa, yeh kya khel khel rahe ho aap mere saath, 6 saal paagalon ki tarah dhoond raha tha mein Sai ko, bhanak bhi nahi lagi mujhe.par aaj achanak aise , woh bhi inn haalathon mein,aakhir kya sochke rakha hai aapne bappa.
Virat thought all these and went back deep in thoughts to station for further work. Sai was very important currently,but the situation required his attention.
Meanwhile back in guest house:
Sai was utterly shocked by the revelation that the child she was supposed to treat was Harini. She was all broken seeing Harini's condition.
Sai went inside the room where Harini was present. Harini was awake and she was sitting in a corner of the room,where Dr.Raavi and Dr.Ranveer were struggling to make a conversation with her,when Sai got close ,Harini immediately got scared seeing Sai,but she also a twinkle of recognisation but also confusion in Harini's eye, that was enough for Sai here.Sai whereas calm went close towards Harini and sat infront of her smiling.
Sai: ( speaking softly)Hey baby, aapko darne ki koi zaroorat nahi hai humse. Harini, Harini naam hai na aapka.
But Harini was still very scared. But,her state was not detoriating so Sai went forward.
Sai: Such a sweet name Harini, aur bohot beautiful bhi,aapke jaise. Aapko ek baat batau Harini, maine aapke bail karvaaya hai, you know why?
Harini looked up at Sai.
Sai: Because,mujhe poora bharosa hai ,ki yeh sab aapne nahi kiya hai, aap bilkul innocent ho inn sab mein, yeh baat mein jaanti hu. Isiliye mein aapke help karne aayi ho. Mein help kar sakti hu na aapki. Par kya aap mera saath dogi baby.
And saying so Sai extended her hands towards Harini. But ,for Harini,it was much more,she saw a hope in them for her, she felt safe and maybe even connected. So,Harini not only took her hads but hugged her out of blue.
Sai was caught off guard at this,but she was very happy.
Sai(thinks):meri bacchi,kuch nahi hone dungi tumhe.mein.
Whereas the other two occupants were happy that Harini has opened upto Sayesha/Sai and informed Dr. Punj about the improvement. And Dr. Punj informed Virat and the state judicial that Sayesha will be handling the lead in this case.
Virat was very happy that Harini and Sai could jel up well.
Soon ,a media report regarding the same development was passed out.
And with all the new found emotional burden, relations and revelations, the day came to an end for Sai and Virat with each others thoughts in their minds, one had regret and one carried pain.
THE NEXT DAY:
Virat was walking towards a cabin in the central hospital along with his team.
Virat:Sab baahar hi ruko, mein aata hu.
Virat barged in and saw Sai sitting there calmly reading a file on the desk. Sai who saw this,
Sai: knock karna aana chahiye tha DCP Chavan aapko.
Virat: Sai ,tumne Harini ka CN mein aana reject kyu kiya hai.
Sai:Sai ,koun Sai? Yaha toh Sayesha hai,aap galat cabin mein hai,waise yeh mera cabin nahi hai,par Dr.Patil was kind,unhone mujhe use karne diya. Aur reject isliye kiya kyunki mujhe laga ,bas.
Virat: kya laga tumhe Sai.
Sai:(a bit pissed now)Sai mar gayi hai,Sayesha.
Virat: (with pain)Mere liye Sayesha kabhi exist nahi karegi, tum meri Sai hi rahogi. Par abhi mujhe jawaab chahiye,Harini kyu nahi aasakti hai CN.
Sai(getting up): Yeh Harini ki medical file hai,basic info dekhiye, pichle chaar mahino mein Harini ke weight mein drastic decrease hai,underweight hai,iska reason sirf disease , khaana theek se na khaana ya over use of body energy hai. Disease ka tih sawaal nahi hai, aur over use bhi nahi hai,iska matlab nutrition ki supply mein hi kami hai,as in Harini mahino se theek se khaana nahi kha rahi hai. Aur na hi so rahi hai. Aur yeh sab aapko nahi dikha.
Virat:Sai ,humein dikh raha tha......
Sai: Toh kuch kiya kyun nahi.
Virat: koshish sabne kiya hai.
Sai: Dikh toh nahi raha.
Virat: Sai,humein saath milkar kaam karna hoga, woh hamaari niece hai.
Sai:(raging and moving close to Virat) khabardaar agar hum kaha toh.
Virat: (in a hurt tone)Shaadi mein hum hi aata hai.
Sai: Jo toot chuka hai.
Virat (pulling her close by her hands): Hamara divorce nahi hai abhi tak,legally hum abhi bhi shaadi shuda hai.
Sai and Virat were now busy in each others eyes, getting to know what is going on.
By then a constable came and informed him that he was getting a call from the commissioner. He remembered that he had left the phone with them and picked the call.Meanwhile Sai also got a call from Dr. Punj.
But the matter was common for both of them,the father of the recent victim who was the MLA, Vinayak Pathwardhan had invited both of them over to his place, alone.
So,both had to follow this as it was an order from the heads of the department.
Virat: Tum mere saath chal sakti ho Sai,waise bhi ,mein yeh waha ke condition ko dhyaan mein rakhte hue bol raha hu.
Sai had endured enough problems in her life due to politicians ,so she just nodded at Virat and followed him.
At Patwardhan's home:
Sai and Virat reached there, as expected many men stood out there. Sab ke sab gunde hai thought Sai.
A man in his 30s came forward and eyed both of them, but began checking out Sai. Virat who observed this came forward and stood as a shield for her .
Virat: DCP Chawan aur Dr. Joshi. Pathwardhan sir ne bulaaya hai.
The guy nodded ,took them in to living area and asked them to wait over there. So ,both sat and began to wait, around fifteen minutes passed. None came around.
Virat was waiting there ,while Sai began to check out the house. She observed some pictures on the wall and went towards them. She saw all were family pictures, well,.most of them were of the father and son.
Patriarchy thought Sai and smirked.
While observing this,there was the kitchen door right beside the wall and she saw a young woman in there ,who was busy on her phone and cooking as if it was a normal day. But she was not a servant ,Sai concluded, as her attire seemed too high for that.
Maatam ke ghar mein ,woh bhi jahaan ghar ka beta guzra hai, waha itna sukoon se hai yeh aurat thought Sai.
While she didn't realise that slowly Virat had also came now and stood behind her. His chest touched her back, and she shook and turned suddenly. They were super close now. Seeing Sai like this,Virat moved a bit back.
Virat(whispering): Woh peeche waale photo mein jo hai,wahi victim hai,aur MLA ka beta.
Sai: Hmmmmm
Virat: samajh rahi ho kuch...
Sai looked at him questioningly.
Virat: Yeh MLA ka beta hai jo victim hai, isika case hai, aur Hari accused, mein iss case ko handle kar raha hu,aur tum Hari ki psychiatrist jo state se alloted ho.Ab samjhi tum kuch.
Sai: Case manipulation?
Virat: Hmmmmm
Sai: par...
They were about to discuss something when they heard a voice- Ram ram DCP saab, mandal aabhar ki aap iss smashaan mein padhare
Virat:(to Sai whispering) Sambhaalke baat karne tum theek hai.(turning to Patwardhan) Namaste Patwardhan ji.
Sai: Namaste .
Patw: Namaste madam ji,badein charche sunn rahe hai aapke. Aayiye baithiye yaha, mout ka ghar hai,par ghar toh hai hi na. Ya basa.
Sai and Virat both sit on the sofas.
Patw: (screaming towards the kitchen)Arre DCP saab aur doctor madam ke liye sharbat leke aao toh. Arre Manjula ,zara ikda ye, bagh ,koun aaya hai? (Now looking at Sai and Virat)Meri biwi hai, Manjula, bete ko khone ke gham mein bura haal hai.
Meanwhile Manjula came out from upstairs, but Sai and Virat had experience in reading people, and Manjula didn't look sad,but like a devil who was ready to take a sacrifice, vengeful she looked. She came down and folded hands and sat infront.
Patw: (looking pointedly and sharply at Sai and Virat and in a bit demanding tone)Bagh ,yeh hai DCP saab aur doctor Sayesha madam, yeh woh log hai jo hamare bete Satish ko insaaf dilvayenge, hai na DCP saab.
Manjula(looking at Sai from head to toe): Toh yeh hai jisne uss ladki ko chudvaaya.
Virat: Sorry for your loss Sir. Investigation chal rahi hai , aur hum poora koshish kar rahe hai ki asli mujrim pakda jaaye.
Manjula: Pakadna kya hai, saamne hi hai,saza dilvaana hai.
Sai( with a pointed tone): Woh accused hai,guilty nahi. Toh investigation poora hona padega mrs. Pathwardhan .
Manjula: Ho kai...
Patw: (again pointedly)Arre arre Manjula, woh sahi hi toh keh rahi hai, woh gunhegaar nahi hai, aur upar se woh DCP saab ki bhaanji hai, aur tujhe pata hai, doctor madam DCP saab ki baiko hai, abhi saath nahi rehte hai ,par bhaanji toh madam ki bhi hai. Aur tu aise baat kar rahi hai. Woh apni bhaanji ke liye ,humse panga thodi na lenge.
Virat and Sai were shocked that this man knew that they were married and their history.
Virat: Aapke kehne ka matlab kya hai.
Patw:Arre,arre, mera matlab aap kanoon ke khilaaf thodi na jaayenge. Apne farz ke liye toh aapne shaadi kiya, phir aap bhaanji ke liye uske khilaaf nahi jaayenge.
Sai looked at Virat now, they were concerned, this man was very deep.
They were about to converse when a lady holding a tray of glasses came to them
Patw: Zeher nahi hai ,yeh meri bahu hai,Rekha, lijiye sharbat lijiye.
Sai observed that Rekha was the woman she saw in the kitchen
Sai(thinks) : rekha ka pati mara hai ya kutta ,zara sa bhi dukh,shikwa nahi hai. Kuch toh hai yaha par.
Sai and Virat both accepted the juice while rekha went back to kitchen.
Sai said that she will keep the empty glass in the kitchen, and went there.
Sai entering the kitchen saw Rekha who looked calm and composed,Sai began to spoke while keeping the glass in the sink: Waise nayi nayi shaadi hui hai kya Rekha? Itna apne pati se attached nahi lag rahi ho? Kyu,accha nahi the kya?
Rekha:(with a weird and content like smile)Teen saal hogaye hai shaadi ko,Jaane waalo ka kya hai,apne apne karam hote hai, jo dhoondhke aate hai, bas unka waqt tha,woh gaye, jaane waalo ko mein kyu rokungi?
Sai was now confused, what did Rekha mean by why would she stop her husband's death? So, she didn't mind her husband dying? But why? She wanted to converse when Manjula came in and demanded her to leave the kitchen.
Sai joined Virat in the living area who was prepared to leave.
Patw: Mujhe aap dono ke kaabiliyat pe poora bharosa hai ,aap mujhe niraash nahi karenge
Sai and Virat then left later on in the car, both lost in thier thoughts.
