I have posted this story on wattapad as well....

Part 1

Writing after long time..this story suddenly popped up in my head so thought of penning it...

Hope u all like it

"Happy holi Sir"..one of the student wished his Shaurya sir who was there in campus for the holi event probably for the first time. He dont even remember when was the last time he celebrated holi. He attends holika dahan every year but playing colorful holi is not his thing.

This year he is there for someone special who somewhat managed to bring inner shaurya out. The playful,cheerful, smiling Shaurya who is rare sight to watch. He is there for the girl who happenes to be his student before some days. Now she is no more a student for him. SHE IS SPECIAL. His Anokhi is special.

Wishing holi that student went on to apply some gulal on his face which he politely refused. He wished to be colored by Anokhi first. These days all his firsts starts from her. He looked around here and there and tried to find a girl who wins his heart. Anokhi was still not arrived. He was eagerly waiting for her so that he can apply colors on her and make his first holi special .plus he wanted to ease the awkwardness they are facing after they spent a night in her hostel room. After that night they both did not came face to face. Anokhi tried to avoid him full day making him more angry and irritated but then he undersood that it wasnt easy for her to get back to normal this soon. So he calmed down a bit and gave her space only after making his mind that he will talk to her on holi.

Lost in her thought he still was waiting for her when he spotted reema coming from other side. He smiled thiking Anokhi must be with her. He eagerly rushed towards them only to get disappointment. Anokhi was not with Reema.

Irked somewhat, he asked Reema about her whereabouts to which Reema answered that she herself is finding her from past half an hour. Her phone was switched off.

Surprised and worried he asked reema when did she last spoke to her.

Reema answered Anokhi was there in room an hour ago, then recieved a call from someone and she left hostel hurriedly.

Shaurya was alarmed now. His first assumption went on ACP Ahir. Did she went to meet him that too on holi?? Did she not care or listened what he said to her in room last night?? Did she just took him for granted?? His anger was raising. I was a fool who was here to celebrate holi for her and she is one who doesnt even cared. His mind was saying this but somewhere his heart were saying exactly opposit. She cant do it. After clearly stating his disliking towards ACP she will not do this.

He tried to call her few times but got no response. He turned to leave when he Spotted ACP Ahir making an entry to the event all alone.

He relived a bit but now his worry increased. Where is she?? I hope she is fine.her phone was switched off. He terrified thinking if anything happened to her??? Hurriedly He went from there searching her everywhere...

Part 2

Shaurya was searching her everywhere in college campus. He litrally checked all the classrooms, hostel rooms, corridors but she was nowhere. He was getting so worried now. His eyes were almost moist. Did she went to her babli di's home. But no she left that house long back and now she cant go there and she will not. He was sure about it. Suddenly he stops in his ways and remembers that he did not went to library. How can you be so stupid shaurya?? He scolded himself for not getting this in his mind till now. She must be there only. He dont know why but his heart was saying she was there only. He went upstairs for library hurriedly. As soon as he enters he wanted to scream her name but he did not. What if she hides after hearing my voice...he has absolutely no idea why and from where he was getting these thoughts. May be she was avoiding him from morning thats y. Yes, this is the reason only. He thought.

Entering in library he slowly started towards the end part where she always sits. They have some good as as well as bad memories in that area. He went ahead and there she was. Sitting alone. Sitting quite. Lost in her thoughts. Her eyes were red and swollen. It did not take him seconds to understand that she was crying badly. His heart pained looking her like this. What must have happened to her. She was all ok till now?? But to his bad luck he is not getting anwers of any of his questions but his questions and worry was increasing only

He slowly went near her and place his hand on her shoulder. She angrily jerk his hand from her shoulder and stood on her place looking into his eyes straightly. He can see her anger filled eyes but he could not read it. He just wanted to know whats wrong with her. He wanted to heal her pain. He wanted her to smile. He wanted to be reason of her smile. He wanted to make her happy. Make her forget all her worries and be her own self. He wanted to be with her in all her life. His heart was breaking into thousand pieces seeing her like this.

Anokhi, holi ka fest chhodke tum yaha kya kar rahi ho? Kya ho gaya hai tumhe? Tumhara phone bhi band aa raha hai? Pata hai me aur Reema tumhe kabse dhund rahe hai?? Kaha thi tum aur kya hua hai jo tum itna ro rahi ho??

He throw series of the quesion on her in one go expecting her to answer.

She did not opened her mouth and turn around not looking at him which makes him angry.

Answer me Anokhi? His voice was raised this time.

But she did not even bothered.

She just moved away from him and runs outside the library without giving him any answers but giving him very angry and ridiculed look leaving confused but angry shaurya behind.

Wth, whats wrong with this gal. How can she do this to me? How can she just walk away from me like i dont even exists? His eyes were red now. He was boiling with anger. He clinched his fist and runs behind her.

Part 3

Shaurya runs behind her but unfortunately she was very fast. She went to her room and quickly shuts the door so that he could not come inside.

He saw her shutting the door of her room and got very angry.

Arghhhh, whats wrong with this gal, damn. Why she is running away from me like this. Yaha pe i am eagerly waiting to play holi with her and look at her playing hide n seek with me. Pagal to nahi ho gayi hai. Ya kuch ulta seedha kha liya hai isne. Ab to me jaanke rahunga ke isse hua kya hai..Anokhi tumne Shaurya Sabherwal ko challenge kiya hai ab dekhna.. tum mujhse milogi bhi, baat bhi karogi aur mujhe bataogi bhi ke kya problem hai...

He takes his phone and calls Reema.

Reema comes there and asks Shaurya if he could find her.

Ha, mili to sahi, library me thi lekin mujhe dekhke aise bhagi jaise kisi bhoot ko dekh kiya ho..he explained.

Kya ho gaya hai Anokhi ko..sir mujhe badi tension ho rahi uski..Reema said worried.

Dont worry Reema. Tension mat lo. Suno mere pass ek plan hai..Par tumhe isme meri madad karni padegi...karogi...shaurya asked her.

ha ha sir, kyu nahi, bataiye..Reema said.

To Suno.....shaurya said somthing in her ears and they both went from there.

After 10 mins When Anokhi cooled down lil bit thinking he might have left from there and gave up on her. he will not bother her now seems. But Anokhi was worried that her mobile was off from long time and her sister might be worried for her.

Shaurya sir ke liye me Babli di ko pareshan nahi kar sakti, already unke life me kya kam tension hai...me unhe aur pareshan nahi kar sakti..aur aaj to holi hai Babli di pakka mujhe phone try kar rahi hogi..thinking this she wiped her tears and switched on her mobile

She was sitting on her bed silently, crying her heart out. Just then she recieved call from Reema.

Reema, reema kyu mujhe call kar rahi hai..wo to bahar holi fest me hongi na...kahi shaurya sir ne to use bola nahi call karne...nahi nahi me nahi uthane wali uska phone...thinking this

She cuts the call.

Reema called her 3-4 more times but Anokhi did not picked any of them.

After 2 mins phone again ranged and this time Anokhi felt she should recieve the call. Itne call kar rahi hai kahi kuch problem to nahi hua...Anokhi tu fest head hai. Teri kuch jimmedariya hai jinhe tu apne personal problems ke liye ignore nahi kar sakti. Wiping her tears again she quicky recived the call.

Tu pagal hai kya Anokhi. Kabse tujhe call kar rahi hu..ye hai teri dosti ha bata?? Reema almost shouted from other side of the phone.

Reema Reema kya hua batayegi, anokhi tried to cool her down.

Anokhi mujhe kisine room me lock kar diya hai..Reema cried..

Kyaaaa???

Ha pata nahi kisne ye kiya. mene sabko call try kiya par sab log log celebration me busy hai. Tune bhi phone nahi uthaya..mujhe dar lag raha hai Anokhi..pls jaldi aaja..me ye third floor ke last room me hu..pls jaldi aaja...Reema told her

Par tu waha kya karne gayi thi..Accha tension na le, me abhi aayi..tu dar mat me aa rahi hu..cutting call Anokhi ran towards the class.

As soon as she reached the third floor she without noticing anything opened the door and went inside ans started shouting Reema's name. Just them she heard someone locking the door from her behind. She terrified thinking who must be it. She turned around to see who it is and her eyes widened with shock seeing Shaurya standing near the door. He put both of his hands in his pant's pocket, cross his legs and fold his hands leaning back to the door looking at her smirking.

He went near her and handed over a folded paper to her. She opened it and read.

"Sorry Anokhi, but aur koi option nahi tha. I hope u will understand- Reema"

Anokhi angrily crushed the paper and threw it away looking back to man standing near the door. her Shaurya Sir.

Ab miss Bhalla kya karna hai. Yahase bhi bhagne ka irada hai kya aapka?? He asked her without leaving his place.

Dekhiye mujhe aapse koi baat nahi karni hai, mujhe jane dijiye...saying this she went near the door and tried to open the lock. Shaurya hold her wrist turns her around and press her against the wall and put both of his hands on either sides of her.

Stop it Anokhi, he shouted leaning very close to her. She can feel his breath on her. His eyes were red due to anger.

Ab iske aage me kuch aur ulta sidha karu chup chaap batao kya hua hai??? He said in authorative tone.

Anokhi was speechless and looking at his angry eyes. Suddenly she remebers something and pushed him away from her making him more angry.

Stop it anokhi. He angrily pulls her by her waist and her hands landed on his chest. She saw his eyes again and hurt to see his moist eyes. He was on verge of crying.

Shaurya Sabherwal was verge on crying. That was it for her.

Part 4

She could see his moist eyes. She could not see him like this. No matter what this would be last thing she wanted to see. Him crying. No. She cant do this to him.

Anokhi, please batao mujhe kya hua hai??? He almost pleaded her.

Congratulations SIR!! She said directly looking into his eyes.

Congratulations, for wha...before he could process it he realised she called him Sir.
SIR????
Anokhi tumne mujhe sir kaha?? His heart sanked.

And congrts kis baat ke liye??? He asked her.

She did not said anything and stood there silently.

Anokhi, please...

On your engagement sir..she spoke even before he could complete his sentence.

He froze. Shock would be understatement for him.

WHAT....what nonsense you are talking Anokhi???engagement meri. Kiske sath....kya bol rahi ho??? He difficultly spoke.

Kya hua sir. Aap itne shock kyu ho gaye...Ye to khushi ki baat hai hai na..aapko to khush hona chahiye...Aur Shagun mam wo...

Wait, shagun....tumhe shagun ke baare me kaise pata? He asked her in shock...

Usse Kya farak padta hai sir...important ye hai ki aapki aur shagun mam ki shadi ho rahi hai...kitni khushi ki baat hai na sir, aap kitne lucky ho aapko aapka pehela pyaar wapas mil gaya...she spoke trying to sound cool but she was breaking inside. Shaurya can feel it. He know her very well.

Mene unko dekha nahi hai par aapne pasand ki hai to acchi hi hogi hai na...aapki jodi bahot acchi lagegi sir...shadi me bulana sir...she said in one go holding her emotions. tears started making their ways now from her eyes..

All these time they both did not realised that she was still in his embrace as he was holding her by her waist.

She realised and quickly moved away. And turned her face away from him so that he can not see her face.

Shaurya stood their like a stone. He was not able to understand how to deal with sudden turn of the events. This was the last he could have ever imagined. He tried to think and process the happenings aound him. No this cant happen. How on the earth she came to know about Shagun and what is this engagement shit she is talking.

Relax shaurya. She is having worst misunderstanding and he has to clear it to her. He cant let her think anything like this. Never. He closed his eyes for few seconds, took a deep breath and opened them.

He put his hand on her shoulder and make her face towards him.

Anokhi, listen..please.. Ek kaam karo tum baitho yaha...let me make it all these things clear to you...he makes her sit on the bench and sat on his knees in front of her..

Dekho Anokhi, i dont no what are you talking. But one thing is sure i am NOT getting engaged to anyone. Do you get it? And shagun..how do you come to know about her..YES me and Shagun was about to get engaged but it was long time back. Mujhe to abhi wo yaad bhi nahi hai Anokhi. Wo mere life ka ek aisa chapter hai jo mujhe yaad bhi nahi hai..arey mene to kabhi usse pyaar bhi nahi kiya..uske sath meri sagai isliye ho rahi thi qki wo sabherwal family ke bahu ke criteria me fix ho rahi thi, nothing else. Uske baare me mene kabhi kuch aur socha hi nahi...she was long forgotten memory for me Anokhi.

Anokhi was looking at his eyes.

Anokhi, dekho ye tum bhi jaanti ho aur me bhi ke peechle kuch dino me hamare beech kaafi kuch badal gaya hai. Cheeze pehele jaisi nahi rahi...ab tum sirf mere liye ek student nahi ho..usse kahi jyada ho...Tum mere liye Miss Bhalla se Anokhi ban gayi ho aur me tumhare liye Sir se PS aur me ab isse aur aage le jana chahta hu..me nahi chahta ke tumhare man me aisi koi bhi baat aaye jisse tumhare ya mere beech koi bhi problem ho...samaj rahi ho...Me kisike sath engagement nahi kar raha hu. Agar ki bhi to shagun ke sath to bilkul bhi nahi. Mujhe kiske sath sagai karni hai, shadi karni hai, apni puri life spend karni hai ye sirf me decide karunga Anokhi. Aur koi nahi. Ye haq mene kisiko nahi diya hai.

He took her both hands in his hands.

Mere dil me ya life ne shagun ke liye koi jagah nahi hai. Ye baat tum jitni jaldi samajogi utna hamare liye accha hoga. Mere dil me kisi aur ne already special jagah bana di hai. Aur ab mere dil pe, life pe sirf uska haq hai. Me khud usse ye haq dena chahta hu bina kisi sawal jawab ke. Jiske sath me sab kuch share kar saku, apna protin baar bhi. Wo bahot Special hai. Bahot important hai Anokhi.

He said honestly looking at her eyes.
She could see so much in his eyes. Honesty. Love. Care. Haq. She was overwhelmed by his words. Never she has imagined that someone can make her this special. Her heart was about tp explode with all the happiness.

She stood and made him also stand.
Looking at his gorgeous face she place her hand on his heart feeling his heartbeats and hugs him tight.

Part 5

Anokhi hugs him tight. Tears started rolling from her eyes

I am sorry...she could only manage to say this.

Shaurya was both surprised and confused. She was all angry till now and now there is she hugging him tight, crying her heart out apologising him. He was not able to understand whats happening to her..

He tried to pull her away and looked at her but she denied. He smiled lil thinking about her and hugs her back. She was right there near his heart and he was on her head. They stood like that for a moment. Feeling calm, composed and peaceful in each other embrace.Anokhi by now relaxed a bit and broke the hug unwantedly.

She looked at him and all she could see his almond shaped eyes full of love. She was lost in his thoughts.

Anokhi, kya hua. Please ab to batao..mene to ab tumhari saari misunderstanding door kardi hai...ab to please batado hua kya hai..he asked her making her come out of her thoughts.

Wo..me..wo mene suna aapki and shagun mam ki engagement hone wali hai aur bahot jaldi shadi bhi ho jayegi...she said not looking at him at all..

Aur tumne ye nonsense kahase or kisse suni..he asked her folding his hand.

Wo..wo...chhodiye na PS..wo mujhe hi misunderstanding ho gayi thi..me bhi na kuch bhi sochti rehti hu..She said trying to ignore the topic.

He sensed it quickly that she was lying. He knows her probably more than herself. But he was also happy that she called him PS. He was somewhat relived that she is back to her normal self.but still he wanted the answer.

Kya chhodiye na Anokhi, jis baat ko leke tumne aise react kiya, tum itna royi uss baat ko me aise kaise chhod du. Anokhi dekho agar kuch bhi problem hai to please batao. Hum milke solution dhund lenge but pls batao kya problem hai..he said holding her shoulders.

She again looked uncomfortable...he noticed it..he did not want to put any pressure on her. She cried lot today. He did not wanted to give her any further stree.

Its OK anokhi agar tum nahi batana chahti, i will not force u. Relax. Ok?? He said smilingly. She nodded feeling relaxed.

But he has already made his mind that he will find out whats the issue and that too very soon. He promised himself.

Ab chale, bahar sab wait kar rahe honge, she said waving her hands infront of his face.

Nahi, mujhe nahi jana..he said straight.

She got surprised.

Kya par kyu, aapko holi nahi khelni....already meri wajah se bahot der ho gayi..chaliye na PS..she pleaded.

He suddenly comes closer to her and put his index finger on her lips to shut her.

Ssshhh...kitna bolti ho..thode time chup raha karo..tumhare liye bhi accha rahega aur mere liye bhi..he said looking in her eyes.

She froze there sensing their close proximity.

Ab jitna me puchunga tum utna hi jawab dogi..samjhi..he almost warned her without taking his finger way and she just nodded

Hmmm...to ye batao ke meri aur shagun ki engagement wali baat sunke tumhe itna bura kyu laga Anokhi??? He asked her looking in her eyes.

She went numb. This wasnt even expected this. How and what can she answer this. She was feeling nervous.

He observed her Fidging her dupatta and smiled little looking at her innocence. God this girl will kill me someday with her innocense one day. He went even more close to her, bend down further to her eyes and huskily asked

Batao Anokhi, i am waiting for you answer. Tumhe itna bura kyu laga??

She could feel Butterflies in her stomoch listening his husky voice.

Wo..mein..wo..aap..she could not answer. To hide her nervousness and red cheeks she jerked and turned her face to other side facing her back to him.

That was enough for him. He got his answer.

Gosh, she was driving him crazy. How can someone be so irresistable.

He put his hand on her shoulder and make her face him.

She looked at him with all love and adoration she had for him.

He was also lost in her beautiful eyes with all the love.

She hugged him and hide her face in his chest.

Part 6

Shaurya hold her shoulder and made her look at him.

He looked into her innocent eyes and said..you know what Anokhi, tumhare aanese pehele meri life normal thi..i mean so regular..lekin tum ek tufan bankar meri life me aayi and everything changed. Changed for good.
I hated you earlier. I wanted you to leave SIAC but seems destiny has some other plans. Jitna me khud ko tumse door rakhna chahta tha utna me tumhare kareeb la raha tha..you know wo dango me jab mujhe laga that i almost lost you, tab mujhe realise hua ke how important are you for me. Jab un gundo ne tumhe baandhke rakha tha jab mere dil me bahot dard hua tha, jab to tumhe gandi tarah chhua tha...tab laga tha unki jaan le lu...jab tum SIAC chhodke jane wali thi tab aisa lag raha tha shayad kuch chhoot raha hai. Life ka ek part mujhse door ho raha hai.
Anokhi, i want to protect you from all the riots in life, i want to save you from all the evil eyes in this world, i want to keep you safe and never let you go anywhere. I want to make you feel how important and sepcial is you for me. How much you matters to me. I want to share all my pain, joy, secrets and every small things to you. Only you.
Me tumhe jindagi bhar apne pass rakhna chahta hu Anokhi. Apni puri jindagi me tumhare sath jeena chahta hu. Tumhare saare nakhre uthana chahta hu. tumhari saari jid puri karna chahta hu. Sare dreams pure karna chahta hu. Tumhare saare sukh saare dukh share chahta hu. Jab bhi me apne aakhe kholu me bas tumhe apne saamne dekhna chahta hu.

I LOVE YOU ANOKHI. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH. BAHOT PYAAR KARTA HU ME TUMSE ANOKHI.

He was finally able to say all those things he wanted to tell her from very long time. Finally he vocally claimed his love for her. He finally confessed his feeling. He was so happy.

He saw her standing there with tears in her eyes.

Anokhi always knew he has something for her. Maybe a love. But whatever he said today made her heart fluttered. She would never think that someone can really love her to this extent. Is she even worth it.
What good things she has done in her life to get a man like Shaurya.

Her heart was beeming with happiness. She was overwhelmed.He finally said what she wanted to hear.

PS wo me...aap..she could only manage to utter. Her heart was so full that she was not able to say a word.

I know Anokhi, it must be difficult for you considering our teacher student relationship, but trust me Anokhi i dont want to pressurize you. Its completely fine if you want to take time and think on this. I know you are very young and very talented. You have your entire life and entire career ahead you. Thats why i dont want to force my love on you. me bilkul nahi chahunga ke tumhe jarasa bhi aisa lage ke mera pyaar tumhare aur tumhare sapno ke beech aa raha hai. Me chahta hu tum tumhare sapne pure karo. Me bas tumhare sapne pure karne me tumhara sath dena chahta hu. Take your own time Anokhi. I am ready to wait even for entire life. I will be always there for you at every step of your life.
He said helding her hands in him.

She was in another world now. Itna pyaar, itni care, itni respect koi kisiki kaise kar sakta hai. Papaji, jeeju, mera bhai jaise logo me how can he be so different. She could feel so much joy that her heart will just explode with happiness.

I LOVE YOU TOO PS. saying this She hugged him tight not wanting to let go of him.

Part 7

Shaurya could not belive his ears. Did she really said i love you to him. He was shocked.

Kya kaha Anokhi, wapas kaho..he said in excitement

Anokhi blushed, went near his ears and whispered, I LOVE YOU PS..

he still could not belive, ek baar wapas kaho na please, please anokhi. He said making a cute face.

Anokhi smiled at his childlike excitement...I LOVE YOU PS. ME AAPSE BAHOT PYAAR KARTI HU..

Shaurya litrally jumped from his place and was about to hug her when he stopped in his way..

Wait Anokhi, kahi tum....he was about to say when Anokhi stopped him in between.

Nahi PS, me kisibhi pressure me aake ye sab nahi bol rahi hu. Aapne meri itni help ki hai ragging, kidnapping, riots...jab jab mujhe sahare ki jarurat thi aap hamesha mere sath the. Mujhe ek sorry bolne ke liye aap mere peeche peeche aa gaye aur mujhe mana liya. Kuch to tha mene dil me aapke liye hamesha se isliye to aapke wo sab kehene ke baad mujhe itna dukh hua tha ka me SIAC chhodne ke liye ready ho gayi thi. Me iss baat se naraz thi, hurt thi ke aap mujhe dango ke beech aise akele chhod ke nikal gaye the. Tab laga tha kya aapko meri jara bhi care nahi thi. Aapki ek ek baat, ek ek harkat mujhe affect kar rahi thi. Aisa lag raha tha ke hamesha aap mere aas pass rahe.Pehele laga tha Ye sab Reema ne jo dala tha mere dimag me uska nateeza hai lekin jab uss din mere kamre me aap behosh the, kisi baat ka jawab nahi de rahe the jab mujhe laga kahi me aapko kho na du. Jab peheli baar ye ahsaas hua ke aap kitne important ho mere liye, aapko khone ke khayalo se bhi mujhe darr lag raha tha. Tab peheli baar ye laga ke ye jo feelings hai ye bahot khaas hai. Ye pyaar hai. Yes PS, I love you.

Shaurya was on clould 9 hearing Anokhi's confession. He was never been this happy in his life till now.

He just went more close to her and hugged her tight. Anokhi also smiled and hugged him back. They fits perfectly into each other.
