1) Writing team has totally ruined the show. It has gotten boring. The story progression feels rushed and we have faltu ke drama scenes a lot more now which can be avoided. I've stopped watching the show these days because of this. Will binge watch next week so I can fast forward.

2) Debattama isn't that good of an actress. Her dialogue delivery feels good at first but it has only two tones. She perpetually sounds like she's pained. Unlike Shaurya, Aastha or even Tej. Their dialogue delivery alone conveys the mood of the character. Expressions are a cherry on top.

In my opinion, the actress needs to work harder. Even the ACP actor is really good but under-utilised.

I feel Deba’s acting/expressions are good . When it comes to dialogue delivery I guess she is from non-Hindi background, so she is stressing words and speaking slowly, clearly.

You r right about the story part...

This jealousy track is getting boring now. Though i love shakhi scenes but i also want a good story. These days it seems that makers just want to show romance and nothing else🙈

But again i think makers don't really have an option because khalid sir is ill so they can't focus on shaan astha track which is the most important part of the show besides shakhi...

Regarding deba acting, she is good in romantic and happy chirpy scenes but yes she needs to work on her emotional scenes. still for a newbie i think she is really good.....

I won't comment on the actors. But the story is definitely not what it was supposed to be initially. The falling in love phase was rushed. Shagun's entry has been rushed. Now we are hearing Ahir will also turn negative. It will be heroes vs villains. Black vs white. I was more interested in seeing the internal conflict of the characters, the fight with their own selves. Romance is fine. Most of the fandom are in this for that. I am not. For me it is just a part of the story, not the whole story. Though it is Shaurya aur Anokhi ki Kahaani, but side characters' story development is also necessary. This is not before trilogy. The dialogues and story is not on that level that the leads alone can carry the entire thing on their shoulders. This is strictly my POV.

I am not sure if we are watching the same show.....

Since it is an adaptation....the flow of the show can not be so rushed. it will match with the original show at junctures. Due to covid and unavailability of actors they might have moved one track here and there. Or may include new tracks. I don't feel that it's rushed per say. Well, the "writers have ruined the show" ....this line can be found in every forum of every show ever. There will always be one disgruntled viewer who rates the show lower and thinks that that's the universal opinion.

About the comment, you made about deb.... Have you seen her in the initial episodes? I wondered how can a newbie act like this. She was good in many many scenes. She is good at confrontation and emotional scenes. I have loved her every scene with Aasta. And she looks damn cute. She is damn good. I do not think that whatever you posted is a popular opinion.

I honestly cannot say that show is bad though it could have been better. A show is all about entertainment and must appeal to the taste of wide range of audience in different age groups so you are forced to throw in all sorts of masalas like romance, angst, plotting and kitchen politics while trying to keep the the concept or soul of the show. The show does not pretend to be cerebral but pure entertainment. It is not easy when you are dealing with a situation like COVID and lockdowns and you are measured on a weekly basis. There are tons of options for viewers so one misstep can cause the show to go off-air and all the hard work of the crew is down the drain. As long as all masalas are balanced, the show is palatable.

For example If they had proceeded with the original concept then Shaurya would be a much more dark character, his change much less relatable and his character almost non-redeemable (misogyny is not something you change easily, it is a part of your behavioral and psychological buildup) so they opted for a grey character who is a progressive at heart and his apparent regressiveness is a result of his circumstances and family background.

I do see some logical oversights in the show but for most part the show has managed to balance various storylines within their constraints and keep pace. Also it is better than most shows out there (I am seriously disgusted at the level of toxicity in those shows and slow pace) and that is enough for me. They have great actors with incredible chemistry and some of the episodes/scenes have been amazing in terms of direction and cinematography. I have no complaints. To me a show is appealing if I think about it and wonder where it is headed next after the episode is done or feel an impulse to comment on it in a forum.

As for Deba, she is learning fast so I have no complaints there either.

Exactly. They have such wonderful actors, such complex characters but they don't know how to utilise them anymore. What we're being served is a half cooked show. It's reduced to another stereotypical drama show of star plus.

The freshness of the show is gone. They could've done SO much in a teacher-student relationship specially with the Aastha connection but they COMPLETELY abandoned the track altogether despite it being the heart of the show in the starting. Shaurya relationship with Aastha was an important aspect, even with Shaan too but it's been absolutely done away with.

Really really disappointed how things are progressing. Everything looks forced and rushed. I miss the episodes till the valentine's day track. That was the golden period of this show, hands down.

I think ,unfortunately with the given situations of actors having to risk a lot to bring out an episode, the storyline may have been modified. True, it doesn’t have the same impact as the earlier episodes , but compared to any other shows I’d still prefer Saakk because A) for most parts it is Not OTT B)the overarching Storyline is still better than the rest of the shows.

I try to skip the family drama, but even in those scenes some dialogues shine thru. I am pretty sure they will address and explore the remaining tracks like Aastha/ Shaan and Rami/ Rama.. but they changed their focus cause SHAKHI is extremely popular on SM. And of course the show itself is Shaurya aur Anokhi ki Kahaani so it doesn’t hurt to give them some focus.😁😍( and I’m not complaining either! 😂).Personally, I support this show for bringing a lot of attention to the challenges a girl /Woman faces in all stages for her life. And I absolutely love Shakhi and Shauhir equally 😂

Overall, of course I respect your opinion, (to each their own ❤️) but please do stick around until the story matures a bit more 🤗

Word 💯...well said dear..

Ya you are right...masala is a must...for us it's just entertainment...but it's their food for many people...they will try all tactics to keep it running...and focus on where it sells...
