Something big must have happened for kjo and dharma to have made this decision, Kjo hasn’t dropped anyone from a film of his in the past that I know of, especially when they have shot most of the film, so something must have gone really wrong for things to have gotten to this point

plus kjo has worked with outsiders, so I really don’t think this has anything to do with kartik being an outsider, replacing kartik is going to cost kjo and dharma a lot of money, an article said it’s going to cost them 20 crores, kjo would not want to lose so much money especially after the industry has lost so much money from the pandemic, kjo had the sets and costumes made for takht and that got pushed back, brahmastra is costing dharma so much money, so the decision to replace kartik in the film must have only been made if it was the only choice they had left

I don't get it.....why is Kartik even popular......neither is he good looking...nor can he act......his claim to fame is that cringy monologue.....and people say ki audience ka taste better hua hai....how???

I have a theory along the same lines, Kjo's dearest RK has been churning out quite few -ve blinds against Kartik post Sonu Titu being Blockbuster and has been chasing after Luv Ranjan ever since, Kjo's other launch Varun has been affected the most by rise in Kartik's popularity since both cater similar audience base, then Kartik not entertaining Kjo's other protege Ananya as much as he would have hoped & now not doing the same with Jahnvi baby of all ppl might be the trigger that pushed Kjo over the edge and he might also be looking at Kartik as some surrogate punching bag of sorts for all the nepo-outsider backlash he faces.

Gosh I need to stop binging on Criminal Minds so much😆 waise on a different note Ananya also seems to be snatching brands from Alia left, right & centre, aakhir ho kya raha iss food chain mein😆

At this point in his career and with all the scrutiny he receives, and for sure very well knowing the "anti nepotism" gang will hound him and give him negative publicity, the fact that he still went down this route tells me that something was seriously wrong.

CLOBBER has already made a post containing most my points but I'll just say a few things.

Birds of the same feathers flock together. The entire KJo gang is superficial, elitist and that's why they prefer working and sticking together. Salman now only works with selective directors...that shows since his last films have been terrible. Imran and Siddharth have both left the Dharma camp, but looks like Sid had a film or so left with them so he completed his contract. Tara is the only female from Dharma who is now mainly working with T Series and NGF. Despite her singing and dancing talent and theatre background, she did not get offered a Dharma film again and got the raw end in SOTY 2.

KJo is an elitist who makes fun of and looks down upon people whoa are not a part of his gang. Remember that video where he ridiculed Kangana for her plastic surgery on KWK? I am not a Kangana fan but how wrong was that? And what about all of KJo's star kids who have legit bought a new face a la Janhvi, Khushi, Shanaya, even Alia. He has been promoting mediocrity and plastic surgery but an average looker from outside his circle is definitely made feel like shit. His favouritism and shit is evident, unless u kiss butt of course.

He doesn't have to control Rani and Kareena, they are his friends and so they share too many similar traits. Snobbery is their middle name.

So if he can be petty on camera, imagine what he's like off camera.

I don't say Kartik is perfect, but this entire situation does not add up. Kartik might have decided to associate with Dharma coz he must have made felt like he belonged there and he saw it as an opportunity to move to A List movies...but its only once u enter a zone you find out what's good and bad about it.

Again these are my thoughts, u may or may not agree with them.
