Morris should never have been able to run 2 off the first ball of Tom Curran's over. Not sure who the fielder was (think it was Prithvi Shaw), but that was terribly lazy fielding.

Any good fielder would've kept it to 1, and that would've meant Unadkat on strike to Curran with 11 to get off 5.

You could also perhaps blame Pant for missing a run-out earlier, but Shaw is a known poor fielder- got to be better at international level.

I like ur posts and yes well said small mistakes can cost u a match. Good examples u gave, like that miss runout (i think it was morris who would have been out) and that 2 in last over.

The Pant missed run-out would've been of Unadkat. Still definitely plays a role, but I give Pant a bit of a free pass because it was the exception with him, while with Shaw, poor fielding is the norm, rather than a one-off mistake. 😔

But maybe he got too excited as the player would have been run out easily as he was miles away
