He was doing outdated comedies by the time I got into movies and they were just not funny

Not really. Most of his characters were unethical, indecent and often down right creepy. So I wasn't a fan of half of his movies. I do think the dude was a super cool dancer, especially for his weight he pulled off those dances quite well. His songs were fun too.

can u name those unethical and indecent characters, if those comedies are unethical than how come hera pheri an ethical and decent comedy where 3 people try to get money in a shortcut ......Mohabbatien where a teacher try to teach the mohabbat lol or kuch kuch hota hai where a small kid is narrating the love story of her parents , Rahul Khanna. the guy friendzones the girl who loves him like hell (Anjali), practices saying "I love you" with her knowing the fact that Anjali loves him or Munna Bahi mbbs bole toh bole toh slang thing and Kal ho na ho where they have shown kantaben and gay relation of srk and saif , 6 din larki in , and those double meaning dialogues

Your definition of what you considered unethical in KKHH, Mohabbatein is hilarious.😆 Which school did you get your ethics lesson from? Also did you confuse me with someone else where you saw me pouring my heart out for SRK and Salman like you do for your beloveds here? Your bitterness toward any rivals of your chosen one clouds your judgement almost instantly. That's why you get laughed at so often here.

Bollywood movies are often problematic and Govinda's movies took it to a new level. Touching girls inappropriately? Remember haseena mann jayegi? Pretending to be blind and then grabbing Karishma every 5 secs, looking at her as she is naked and changing? Marrying people by tricking them in Coolie no.1? Lying to get the girl is like a common theme in so many Govinda movies. So ethical and decent!👏 Do you follow this type of decency in real life?

no so why single out govinda only in that case same things are present in any amir shahrukh salman films be it andaz apna apna etc, infact amir confessed that he have done many indecent acts in his films while discussing it with kangna and other actresses regarding inappropriate touch

The ones you cited are silly but not really amounting to harassment or vulgarity. I mean, really! A little kid narrating love story of parents is a problem to you? Or a clueless man? And homophobia in 2021?

All 80s/90s heroes have done some version of the following, including Aamir. Problem with Govinda is he made a complete career of vulgarity, and almost his entire success was due to such crass movies. He bluntly stated in many interviews he was quite proud of his *mass* appeal.

He might have been an A-lister, but his movies were strictly B-grade.
