thanks for tagging me lakshmi. i am unable to get past virat’s behaviour at all. he has become a monster. i understand his pain, his sense of betrayal and everything, but to me nothing can justify his inhuman behaviour. people defending his actions saying he is in anger is disturbing a lot. are we normalising abuse. because what he has done today is abuse period. at this point i do not want sai to apologize at all. during hand holding incident, i had a discussion with janki, that the next steps virat could take which would make him fall even lower is 1) consciously hurt sai 2) sexually assault her. in his anger today, he has already done the first. he becomes worse everytime he is in anger. seeing his character arc i wouldn’t be surprised if he resorts to last as well. would people still normalise that as well saying sai angered him to the extent that he assualted her?

i am sorry if i have angered anyone but i for one am not able to move past his behaviour. i don’t know what he could say or do which could redeem him in my eyes. everytime sai does something which he doesn’t like, he makes her realise that he has the power in their relationship, that she is dependent on him.

So true. I hope you know I have not justified his behaviour or his actions..I equally am disappointed in him for that.. I did see a lot of posts on how it's all triggered by Sai..or how he is angry at the moment. What its the limit to one's anger..Will his apology serve any purpose, if something happened to Maushi or Sai, after roaming on the streets? And his dialogue aapke sanskar hai isiliye bahar nikala hai..warna na jaane kya karta..aur kya karta bhai.. maarta peet ta? what actually? Tumhare ghar par chath nahi hai..such male chauvinist and sadist he appeared then.. He has been an AH and there is no justification for his behaviour at all..Just because he apologises its not going to work for me...

To an extent even i agree, but i know in reality people go to this extreme and are forgiven. Having said that its still a very toxic behaviour.

In the whole scenario i understood his anger but one dialogue (may be a slip from the writer) didnt go well with me. in anger he said -

"She deserves this punishment for going against me and my family" - This was a problem.

Had he said, "She deserves this as she destroyed my sisters life" - then i would have understood.

and thats were the problem, subconsciously he also knows that she would not do anything to harm his sister. But the betrayal which he has faced is a lot for him to handle. But still cant get pass his behaviour for the past 3 episodes - With Aai, Usha Maushi and Sai (she was wrong i agree, but didnt deserve this).

Waise i have noticed, Pakhi does not respect anyone i guess- Doesn't she call Usha Maushi as Usha - the so called MAratha bahu.

Like I pointed in Muguet;s thread, what is this obsessiveness of punishing the wives by the their husband..Who lets them decide they can punish their wives in any which manner when they think they are wrong.. He sounded chauvinist at that point..

I also dont understand why Aai, Mohit and Shivani have no right to just tell him that this our house to and she is staying here..Why do he gets the last say..Why they were busy convincing him rather than just going out and getting Sai inside. Why did they have to plead to him, especially his Aai.

Yes she is very disrespectful ,even I have seen her. She suffers from superiority complex. Its the inability of the actress to play that character. Or we would have discussed how she is the way she is..

Ahhh, to think this character is going to be part of Sairat's journey is very off putting. Increasingly, I can't stand her on screen. I have never felt this way about tv characters, even the most negative ones.

no no . i liked your posts. even i got disturbed seeing some posts saying sai has strted all this . its like saying, rape victim has provoked the perpetrator to me. yes, she is wrong to have hidden the facts from virat. none of us are denying that. but does she warrant such behavior? absolutely not. no one does.

I think the reason could be also because she is unconvincing as an actor.. For me she has spoiled some good scenes.. especially the ladakh episode and MS one where Virat takes a stand for Sai... Her inability to act is what destroys the scene and our viewing experience and she is not ready to accept it as well...

So many people talked about itni raat ko, including his AH of a father Ninad..and nothing nothing was registered by him at all.. Sai vene indirectly pointed out his responsibility as a police office , but no it was like somebody else had taken over him...

Definitely. There were so many scenes. Even today, the dialogues were so rushed. No pause, no intonation.

absolutely. he has every right to end the relationship with her. as a person he can decide if he wants to stay married to her or not. but do it without forgetting your humanity. divorce her and then send her away. but what kind of a behavior is this ? and then he prides himself to be a good human being and good police officer? disgusting.
