The new actress was fantastic as an MIL in Punar Vivah. Let's hope she won't turn a vamp here, we can't deal with Raghav having more heartbreaks if she tries to separate Pallavi from him.

I don't know about mother-son bonding but I know that Sharda would treat Pallavi's new husband well, whether it's Raghav or not. She's just that type of person. Also, it aligns with what Pallavi said in the promo about mummy vs mummyji. Technically and biologically, Sharda won't be his real mother-in-law once he marries Pallavi, but she will have that place in his life because of her relationship with Pallavi. I for one don't mind seeing a good SIL-MIL bond. Loved it in KRPAB and wouldn't mind it here either. Besides, she honestly hasn't done anything to piss him off or insult him (yet).

As for sticking Deshmukhs to the audience, it was clear from the promo that the new dude in Pallavi's life would have to accept her current in-laws as his family. So I'm not surprised about it. I don't want saas-bahu crap in this show, but don't mind one bit seeing sasur-damaad fights. They are superb.
