Actually, I have no qualms in accepting that the story has become a horrible mess, thanks to the lack of TRP. And for that very TRP, these people have created an equally horrible track that has no connection to the story. Its hasty and shoddy execution to culminate into a forced hate marriage is making the show into a cringefest. I admit I have stopped watching, but I do catch on to snippets here and there.
The Deshmukh family is a despicable watch. They are narrow-minded, cheap, and third-class characters to say the least, with mighty double standards.
And with Pallavi, they have taken the translation of her persona as "water" way too seriously. Jaise pani apne container ka shape le leta hai. Pallavi madam behaves according to the company she keeps. With the Deshmukhs, she is horribly meek, subservient, and flexible to a point that even a yoga posture will hurt, she is that flexible. With Raghav, she is another person - feisty, spirited, independent.
But I would any day choose this Pallavi over the Deshmukh DIL. Frankly, Pallavi blaming Raghav is natural for her, because the guy, down the line, has done some mean things to her, for no fault of her own. So, she has conditioned herself to believe that Raghav can do anything to her in his hate for her. Whereas Raghav is another sample, he is objective and biased at the same time. One cannot predict which route he will follow with Pallavi.
I don't get what is the rush, even to show a hate marriage. Lagta hai Star Plus naam ke Raavan ne iss show ko Hanuman ki pooch samajh ke aag laga diya hai, for TRP, isiliye sone ke show ko jalaye ja raha hai. I mean it's been roughly 40 episodes, and the show is turned so shitty, that I have taken a backfoot.
When I used to watch Naagin 5, I stuck to the end, for Sharad Malhotra and his portrayal as Veeranshu. He was that good. But they butchered him real bad. Here they have butchered Pallavi, but they have a strong character like Raghav Rao, which they also seem to butcher quite a few times. His lack of any softness or remorse for the FL is weird. It is weird that he feels nothing at all with her, spending so much time one-on-one with her. I mean here too Pallavi did feel something - be it curiosity or remorse or sadness, but kuch to tha. Raghav ko to kuch bhi nahi hota. I have seen anti-women heroes, but this guy is something else. Iska kuch bhi samajh nahi aata, iske ilawa that he admires that she is only someone who can challenge him, being a woman.
The long and short of it is, I have lost interest because the charm of the story has fizzled out way too quickly.
