Tripatis are going to have PTSD by the time Aditya-Malini relationship ends. When Aditya-Imlie relationship officially begins in Tripati household with Malini gone for good, every time Aditya-Imlie argue in front of all, even though it will be their usual nok-jhok, Tripatis will get tensed thinking ab sab khatam ho jayega. Imlie will leave Aditya and go. It will take some time for them to see that there is no similarity between Aditya-Malini arguments and Aditya-Imlie arguments. Just like today's dining table scene, while it was delightful to watch Aditya-Imlie argue it was dreadful to watch Malini go on taunting Aditya in front of the family members on a topic that is not even about their relationship.

I liked the first scene today so I'm going make a brief comment on that.

It seemed like a reiteration of their separation scene from PD when Adi told her she doesn't need a husband or father's name and promised her that he'll be there for her whenever she asks. :) You know, I love these partnership/jeevansathi dialogues from Adi. He said the same thing to Prakash at the bus stop, that he will always be Imlie's jeevansathi and not her pati. I like how he always evokes this term 'partner' instead of husband. It shows how evolved his thoughts are regarding marriage when he stresses on partnership rather than any labels of husband/wife. The dialogues are written to show that he never wants to cage her in a relationship, rather he wants to give her the freedom to decide at what point she wants to stake her claim on him. It is a beautiful depiction of his dialogue, "Agar saathi sahi ho, toh rishta pankh ban jaata hai." Imlie set him free when she left for PD and today he's returning that favour. Both of them never tried to cage the other in a relationship. It also shows that he thinks that their relationship is above and beyond any husband/wife label. He's giving her that reassurance that she can always depend on him as a partner, to share in life's joys and pain because he knows she is never going to come forward ask that herself. He's also slowly making up for the fact that he's neglected her for so long. She's had to hide her pain from the world all this while and had no one to confide in. I think he is using this sindoor gesture to tell her that you can confide in me, you don't have to put up a brave front in front of me, you can cry on my shoulder. All these subtleties just makes me love them even more. Their relationship is just so so beautiful.❤️

On the precap, does anyone think that Malini Didi's "Imlie came second, someone else can take her interview" is a loaded question? It seems to me like Didi is complaining to Adi why he is prioritising Imlie first and Didi second.😆

Btw just a random aside, but I liked Nidhi Bhabhi's comment in that nights out episode when she told Malini that she should have come the next morning cuz ussko garmi lagegi.😆 Subtle taunt laga mujhe.😛

@bold - is that not what Malini’s entire characterization has been so far? That she should be the nucleus of Aditya’s existence. And after that everyone else’s too. She once went off on BKaki about why she did not love her enough because she made some random statement. It was supposedly said jokingly but her thirst for attention was evident even then.

One last bit before I end the day on here, Aditya at his core is an unapologetic man where his beliefs and principles are concerned. Imlie annoyed him today with her Malini didi’s college bit. He had decided on not that college for a reason. By not even entertaining his wish Imlie turned into the Ts for a bit there. Aditya is not going to be silent; it is not in his nature to be silent. Kisi pe toh barsega. If not Malini, Imlie khud sunegi uski daant. She is not resolving anything by trying to be sacrificial

Imlie's sacrificing nature does irritate me sometimes. Like, she should see for herself, that she is not the cause of every Aditya-Malini argument. The problem is in their relationship which has nothing to do with her. Just like initially, Aditya kept on hurting Imlie in order to keep Malini happy due to his guilt, Imlie is now hurting Aditya to keep Malini happy due to her perceived guilt.

Couple of times Imlie goes against Aditya to support Malini, he will burst. Imlie could take on all the hurt, but Aditya will not. As seen in today's episode, he is prepared to end his relationship with Malini and start his life with Imlie. He was ready to go tell the whole family the truth today only. 😆

Malini didi ne notice kiya na cute bolke. She has been pretty much the first one to notice changes in their equation from the beginning. Bas memory aur retention problem ho jaati hai uske baad 😆

I really loved all the PD scenes that we got today. I was even fine with Pari today as he was for once behaving like a friend to Imlie without simultaneously spitting venom at Adi.

Meethi & SK being the proud parents of Imlie, so happy in her achievement was . Meethi being congratulated by all the villagers for Imlie's achievement & giving her the due credit to her for educating her was such a huge pay off for all the taunts, humiliation that she & Imlie had to live through for 19 years. SK strutting & baatoing the mithai for his Imlie's success was so good to watch.

Imlie's phone call with Meethi & SK was heartwarming❤️. They are such a beautiful family. Nazar na lage thoo thoo 'looking at DC eavesdropping'😆. Imlie deservedly giving the credit of her success to her Dadda was adorable. She recognises that he has given her all the love & care better than any that her birth father can ever give her. No wonder he is her hero❤️.

Lol @ Tripathis developing PTSD over Adi-Malini fights😆. Currently toh they have developed a slight frustration with their arguments so they are now taking steps like minimising their ghulna milna with the Chaturvedis, diverting topics whenever they see the beginning of any arguments, etc. Yes but by the end of their relationship, they will become more desensitized I guess. Let's see what the makers show.

I don't think they will get wary over Adi-Imlie arguing. Now as the Adi-Imlie relationship dynamic will become more visible to them, the difference over Adi-Imlie arguments & Adi-Malini arguments will become one of the red herrings for them to become suspicious. They will see how easily they move forward even after their arguments. I am expecting them to take note of how differently Adi-Imlie do their ruthana manana.
