Imagine that ACP was a totally stand up guy, then we would look at SS and be like this guy is actually ridiculous. However today we see that ACP isn't perfect either. I feel like he has some strains of controlling behavior too, they just don't manifest in the same way. Shaurya says things in anger and ACP does things through making the other person feel bad. Anokhi clearly didn't want to do the puja with him she clearly didn't want him to walk her home. His insistence isn't great either because he isn't really taking her opinion into consideration. He ends up doing what he wants just like SS ends up doing what he wants. And I agree, until Shaurya finds out that Anokhi likes him back and that ACP doesn't have feelings for her, Shaurya will never be comfortable with him around her.
@bold he does! Omg shrut I am glad you brought this up because I was thinking the same! He wasn't backing off even when Anokhi was very clearly brushing him off I guess he wants to hear it explicitly from her!
But he was also the one who made it into something sort of a race between himself and SS, wasn't he objectifying Anokhi without taking her opinion into consideration? (Shaurya literally does the same thing by reacting to Anokhi's interaction with Ahir, and today even telling Ahir to stay out of the way) but somehow I still felt there was a thin line of difference in the way Shaurya reacts to what ACP told him. I mean the confrontation was great but he took a lot of liberties in trying to imply that Anokhi was more inclined to choosing him than Shaurya, without taking Anokhi's actual feelings or opinions into consideration but it's good because now both are on equal footing, because even yesterday Ash and I mentioned how in real life ACP would be a better choice😆 but now I most definitely don't think it is because they have established similar traits for both of them with one being aggressive and brash in jealousy and the other being strategic.
If anything Shaurya seemed more respectful of Anokhi despite his "stay out of my way" by stating "She isn't some game to me" and today's episode also made it clear that he wasn't fighting for Anokhi out of petty jealousy but an innate need for him to be with him, to choose him! Everything from the beginning of the episode, his prayer 'I don't want anything else just let me see Anokhi' to the rage in police station, it wasn't a claim on Anokhi but his insecurity making its way out in the only way he knows to express.
