Today, finally Raghav got to see the other side of Pallavi that is totally opposite what he's seen so far: mahaan to a pointless degree and a sort of doormat. She could have asked Raghav to talk to her outside but I agree with him that he doesn't want his name dragged into this. Last time his Amma didn't take the scandal well, and another one will not be acceptable to her. He even found it hard to believe that the woman who challenged him at every step was like a lamb at home... I honestly don't feel he genuinely believed they were out to blackmail him as a family, but he threw that in their faces to remind them of their auqaad, and that he has better things to do then just let them drag his name through the mud.
The return of Pallavi wasn't greeted the same way by everyone, of course, but you could see immediately who her well-wishers were. I guess Mansi too doubted her, so I'm going to cross her off the list. Yes, she was sorry about it but only after seeing the report. Rambo ki to baat hi mat karo. Only Nikhil genuinely loves her.
I think the orphan comment was in the heat of the moment and I don't know if Raghav registered it in all the arguments. Maybe it will strike him later, or maybe he already knows about this and it's not a big deal. That would be very underwhelming. The widow reveal better not be like this but I don't know if and when he'll add 2 + 2.
You could argue that Raghav could have done the reveal quietly instead of making an announcement, but the way these Deshmukhs are going screaming in public, and especially after Rambo insulted him last time, it makes total sense that Raghav would say whatever he had to out in the open. I love his direct attitude and if I were him, I too would wonder if Pallavi was a hypocrite who doesn't practice what she preaches to him every single day.
He's astute, so I do think he realized what was happening to her, feeling the pressure and always bound by family circumstances. I also think he was taunting her to get her to realize her stupidity, and that being mahaan wasn't going to help her achieve anything. The bait about leaving the report in the doctor's room was intentional. He wants her to see for herself who in the family is playing games. He may have said he didn't want his name involved but at that point he did care more about her character assassination, far more than she herself seemed to... I wouldn't normally say this, but in a way, I'm glad that he pointed out how he'd helped her many times but was shocked that she didn't want to let him help her or even help herself today when it was most needed.
On another note, just like we gush over Farhad's place in Raghav's life, we love Krishna too and her bond with Pallavi. I had been thinking about what Pallavi would feel if something were to happen to her, and I'm excited to see that Raghav will involve her in something that Pallavi won't take well. I want more of Krishna on-screen. I want to see Pallavi have that same emotion for Krishna as Anna did when Farhad got slapped. Bless the guy, he's supporting Pallavi despite his Anna's anger. I have a feeling Amma will find out and Raghav will think she told her or spread some rumors about him.
I reiterate my vote for Rahul. He's a good man and they are lucky to have him. So refreshing to see him being upset about Mansi not finding him trustworthy and bundling him with outsiders instead of sharing her pain with him. I know it was a misunderstanding and he's upset, but he will recover from it and support Mansi. It could have gone the typical ITV way where he believes outsiders and walks away angrily but thank goodness he didn't. Another plus point for Pallavi's brother being supportive of her decision to fight and for bhai and bhabi sticking up for her. Will they stick around now that the wedding is on hold or will they go back to Kolhapur? I am wondering if Rahul's mother will set the condition that the wedding will only go ahead of Raghav and Pallavi marry, though I don't quite see Raghav giving a damn about that. He has no vested interest there.
The highlight of the episode for me was the 'adventure ride' and how Farhad and Raghav played good cop, bad cop. It reminded me that although we've seen a gentler side to Raghav recently, he's still the same tough guy who burned her saris and tied Pallavi to a chair in front of the oncoming trunk. To think all that effort into uncovering the truth from Dr. Kanika was wasted because Pallavi didn't want to come off her high horse. I would be really mad at her too. Also, what was with the 'you're a goon, what do you know about shareef people' nonsense she was spouting? We can tell who is shareef indeed, and props to Rahul's mother for calling the Deshmukhs out on that and genuinely wanting to hear Raghav out.
Mansi's wedding being stalled is not Raghav's fault at all. It's karma biting BWA hard this time. Milind warned her, but at the end of the day she's not going to change her tactics. She will just get more aggressive and instigate Rambo, which is probably when he will throw Pallavi out of the house. BWA is playing with fire and underestimating Raghav's threat. He should probably take her on one of his adventure rides or drag her to court over the size and color of her bindis, if nothing else. I can imagine if he marries Pallavi he will not tolerate any of this nonsense further, but does our heroine even deserve his concern and protection at this stage if she wants to sabotage all attempts to clear her name? Sorry if I sound harsh, but as a woman I cannot approve of what she did. In fact, I wouldn't want any human being to do that. What did she mean, let people think she did that? Even Rahul's mom was not ok with her taking the blame unnecessarily.
So now that Pallavi will be thrown out of the house, will she land up on Raghav's door again and fight with him about everything? If she does, I want him to send her away and not entertain her.
