You said right that they should have ended story fast. But problem is if new famous actress enters show they can't bring her for just 1.5-2 months. If Avneet would be there the show would have ended after 1 final track of 1.5-2 months. But since she got replaced after lockdown they just can't do injustice by showing replacement actress for just few days so it dragged. They could have simply avoided the mistakes they did after 500 episodes by showing other ways to move the story.

Par kis show me story aur characters butcher nahi hote? Even your DMG shown changing of story drastically with even ML changing and later old ML coming back. But since Aladdin was a fantasy they should have avoided butchering it.

Meant that it ended in march itself showing fast forward track and alasmine married

I didn't like that twist in dmg thankfully armaan's character was not butchered riddhima atul nikita changed, anji remained same, rahul sapna left so thier character is not butchered
