Show me stats, which say 80% of the women get raped if they step out at night. I would really like to share those with my colleagues & also family members - may be that would make them stop leaving at nights.

lol ? who is delusional ? who thinks 80% of the women who get raped if they step out at night or who thinks the world is not as bad a place as its been projected as ? And we wonder why India gets a bad image in the outside world, when we have people like you in the country, why the need for others to malign us.

The stats are defo wrong and exaggerated, but the risk is incredibly high in India.

Ummmm literally all women are at risk, especially in a country like India. You think women have not been kidnapped or raped when they are returning from work or anywhere. Just in Feb of this year there was a woman in Noida returning from work at night who was gang-raped. There was a very widely discussed rape of a girl who was returning from work in India too back in early 2020 whose name I can't recall. Am I saying they can't go to work at night at all due to risk of rape? No! I'm saying we never know what kind of person you run into or who comes across a woman who can commit such an act and take precautions, yet this family just decided to throw the daughter-in-law out of the house at night without giving her a chance to find a place to go first despite knowing the problems of women safety in the country. How can you use the working woman situations with as woman thrown out by her in-laws at night? That's actually domestic abuse by the in-laws.

I never supported Virat throwing out Sai late at night, I will just reiterate it.

My pt was against the 80% women get raped quote by @swanlaked & she says, she has stats to back them.

Women get raped in other countries too, its not just subjected to India. To be raped it doesn't need to be a night, a person can be raped even without stepping a foot outside in the mid-day. Yes, the prob is heightened in India, I don't deny it. Just for the fact, its not just women who get raped. Lets not step outside the subject, we'll be going in circles.

Kya aap is baat ka answer de sakti hai why kaku choose manipulate sai in absence of virat.

Why she asked Ashwani not to tell anything to virat after he returned .

Sai to baat hi chhod apne parivaar ki sachai jane ke baad virat sadme se mar jayega shayad

Why kaku finished all kidnapping thing before virat's return.

Urgency of this marriage coz of pulkit who asked sai to bring devi to him & holi was perfect occasion where sai can elope with devi bas itni urgency thi.

I never denied the high numbers, based on what @swanlaked suggests every man is out to prey on woman, as a man it makes me furious. I have never known a family member or a friend who was ever been accused of mistreating women or even ragging girls.

Family members were unaware of the kidnapping because they are family not a police station. But Virat is a police officer, efficient or not = if someone files a case, his department has to investigate.

lol ! lets not get into basic logic of CC tv & other specifics, I can go on & list dozens of irregularities for a police officer house. Just to begin with, ACP is accorded police security outside their house - where are the constables ? Lets take the show at its face value.

According to @swanlaked jungle may be lacking men, so that's perfectly safe.

I have openly bashed Virat for his dubious investigation, similarly I have bashed Sai for the present track. No sugarcoating around.

I know it's completely wrong for virat to throw her out in night when he himself is head of women cell & know sai dont have other place to go . He did failed as an IPS officer

If sai files an FIR against him for this I will not say a word to her on this coz no doubt virat is wrong.

But d safety rant I m hearing from yesterday do make me think why safety thing never came when sai herself went out in jungle , sent Milind & madhuri back , climb a tree & what not .

But most other countries are not having the level of gang-rape issue that india has been having over the past few years. It's getting far more ridiculous. I agree with fruit custard when she pointed out why was sai roaming around in jungle and there is danger there too, but that stupidity was Sai's own that she can be blamed for, yaha toh her very mature in-laws are throwing her out at night and locking her out with nowhere to go, when fact is india has a huge rape issue and when they have a police officer in their house who is responsible for women's safety and a man who is a retired police officer. It is ridiculous! Sai is an impulsive 18 year old on more rescue missions than her police officer husband, but what is the excuse of her police officer husband and her retired army officer father-in-law and her kaku-saas who is the elder matriarch of the house who likes controlling the women of the house and like talking about what people will think?

Those women who are returning from night-shifts are returning where? Their homes! Here Sai has been thrown out of that home with no real home to go to.

Virat failed as human being first, then man, then IPS by not allowing Sai in the house at the middle of the night. I'll be more than happy if Virat is suspended by his department for his action, a guy who can't respect & provide security for his own wife - how can he respect or offer safety to other women.

If they had to show Virat not letting Sai inside - either he should have allowed her to stay in the house, may be in Usha Moushi's room for the night & leave the next morning (or) call his lady officers/constables & asked Sai to be given a safe shelter for the night at a hotel or a police guesthouse - he's a ACP, he has special powers, if he chooses to use them.

Just for the matter...

And Sai is not all alone as she was, when she came with Virat to Nagpur for the first time. She has college friends, heck ! Even PD is her family now, she could move there if she wants to. So the talks about going to GC at the middle of the night, sounds ridiculous. Sai is an educated girl & that too daughter of a police inspector.

Sahi hai, sai too has not thought about devi tai medical treatment, and instead she thought about her happiness with the intention that maybe having Devi united with her husband who she has been talking about all this while, she might get better with time. That's more than what anybody in that house has thought about for devi tai who have left her unmarried, mental, untreated and neglected for years and would continue to do so if Sai didn't decide to do something for Tai.

Jhoot bol ke , dhoka deke , chupa ke , kissi ke liye kuch accha kar rahe ho or sahi bhi hain to usko chupa kyu karna hain , why was she hiding from virat . Vo 2 virat traced her varna she was praying virat don't reach it .

Uspe virat ko haq nhi usse kuch bolne ka ?

One rape was reported every 16 minutes in India (National Crime Record Bureau (NCRB))
