want to see scenes like GC days were he was super cool ACP

Yes, none can replace NeilSha as SaiRat and none can beat their chemistry! ❤️I just love NeilSha as SaiRat

It's just that, after all that's been done to Virat as a character, I can still enjoy his acting. I just couldnt stop myself from appreciating Neil, coz if not for his acting and little nuances, I would've ffed most of the drama.

Also adoring Ayesha as Sai Joshi!

Even I'm waiting to see his dance performance again and I do miss GC days

Siya and Laksh coz I want to😳

Thanks for tagging me 😆.

I wanted to watch this show due to the promo, I quite liked the story line, was visible to some extent in the promo.

To be honest, I liked Neil in the promo and if if was anyone else, I am not sure if I would have tried watching the show. Neil nailed it in the promo itelf is what I feel.

His face did look familiar to me, but I couldn't recollect who he was, I then found that he was Zakir from DABH. I have not watched the entire part of the police training academy in DABH, a part of which I did after I started to watch Ghum 😆.

An actor can be good looking but his work can only make us glue to the show and that is exactly what Neil has been doing. I love the way he has blended himself into the character Virat. What can I tell about his acting?

Zakhir and Virat are very different in many ways. The Zakhir was a ruthless and a competitive guy and I disliked him in DABH, but I went back and watched those scenes only to see a contrasting personality.

Virat is a very emotional person, I can't imagine anyone other than Neil playing the role of Virat or imagine anyone else with Ayesha, not in Ghum atleast.

About Neil's expressions, the expressions through his eyes, they speak volumes, one can see love, care, anger, jealousy, hurt, pain, restlessness, imaptience and so much more. I really wonder if it is even possible, am I reading too much, the truth is he emotes exceptionally well.

The way he twists his face, the way he fists his hands to cover his mouth to control himself when he is too emotional, when he is too hurt, the closing of his eyes also is many a times with many different kind of hand movements, closes his mouth with a palm and emotes something.

He would lift just one eyebrow (I have wondered if one can do that and tried it too 😂😂), the way he squints his eyes or purses his lips, we could even see a mild clenching of his jaw in the alta episode. I would say he has done PhD in just facial expressions.

His body language along with his facial expressions is a treat to watch.

I once heard him telling in one of the interviews that he actually acts Virat the way Neil would act in a situation in real life.

And may be that is why he is able to bring out so many emotions. I think that is why it looks so natural, so effortless, flawless. Imagine, we express a feeling in real life, and this person is using the same to emote it on screen, in front of the camera.

And what is surprising is that one can never get bored of his acting. He brings variations in many of his expressions. I think that is done, so that we do not mark one particular action of his as his signature style. Everyday I get to see a new Virat, not because of the character but because of Neil. He never fails to surprise me with his acting skills.

It started with him being a very obedient and respectful son, they then showed him to be a romantic boy (sorry I have hardly watched those scenes), a brother who was filled with fun and excitement, a dutiful officer, a respectful student, a ruthless police officer, a stern superior, an impressed man, a very curious guy, a protective person, a patient guy, an understanding person, helpless person and the list goes on.

Every single thing that I have listed wasn't something one can get out of the dialogues or scene, it was because of the way, Neil portrayed it.

I enjoy all his scenes with everyone in the family and with Aai, the way he adores his moms is made so visible, the way he blushes when his mom teases him, the way he gets playful with her and the scene in which he turned into a child while she was feeding him, the way he regretted his mistake and apologised holding his ears, they all looked so natural. Aai is also a sweetheart and they both look too good together.

And Neil's scenes with Sunny, a friend who can be himself, relaxed, tensed, helpless, annoyed, whining and so on. It was all emoted so well, his entire body speaks.

His swag as a police officer 😎. In a moment, he will turn from a strict, ruthless officer to an emotional guy.

I loved the way he used to tease Sai or joke with Sai in GC, the way he has been flirting with her for a long time now, the way he gets upset or disappointed expressing his pain, his hurt, his anger on Sai. Has always been a treat to watch.

I think we could love their fights because of Neil, Ayesha and their chemistry. His anger always looked too good, be it with others as well.

And the way he acted jealous, I am sure people fell for it and wanted fo see a jealous Virat more often. From the muah muah baby to Ankit haan jo bhi khet, it was brilliant, what an acting.

I have written one or two OS where Virat hardly had dialogues in them, I visualised how Neil would have emoted and had described that in my OS 😆. He has got a role in the show, where he always doesnt speak up, we would have all turned crazy if it wasn't Neil, who was playing the role of Virat, wouldn't have been able to understand what he was feeling.

Many of us get really upset when Virat stands quiet, and we all say that those stern looks, deathly glares or disgusting and unbelievable looks that he passes aren't enough, he should speak up. The beauty is that we could gather what kind of a look it was only because it was Neil, atleast for me. One can say when he is looking at Sai softly, when with concern and when romantically.

Speaking of romance, it was also seen in his hurt, in his pain, in his yearning.

His blank face with no smile shows so much, the way he gets lost in Sai, the way he admires her, the way he teases, the way he flirts, and the way he blushes , whole forum became a fan of the famous blushing scene 😂😂.

Neil turned into a cute lover boy, a boy who became so nervous to confess his feelings, the way he emoted excitement, impatience, desperation and was fun to watch.

The recent holi episodes showed us a completely new romantic Neil. It is in this show that I have watched him play in so many emotional and romantic scenes.

As we all know Sairat means Neil and Ayesha acting together. They share an amazing chemistry.

To Neil 👏 👏

I know, my reply is much longer than your original post 🙈🙈. Thanks for the lovely post.

I think you have done a Ph.D. on Neil and his expression. I wish he reads it, he will be on cloud nine. He will be speechless.

I am a Shaheer Sheikh fan. That too very ardent and obsessive.

I watched Neil Bhatt since Gulal and always held a good opinion about him. I must say this show made me understand how versatile an actor he is . He is effortless and spontaneous ,the traits that I found in my all time favourite hero whom I mentioned above.

As Virat I can never imagine anyone else, not even my favourite hero. Actors get once in a lifetime role in their career . This is the one for Neil and he utilised every scene and every track to show his all round brilliance as an actor par excellence.

Neil’s chemistry with Ayesha is top class. Rarely we come across such couples who look made for each other and complement with their acting and expressions. The understanding and ease is clearly visible.

I am a Sai Joshi fan first. I watch the serial for Sai / Ayesha . I never loved any actress or charecter of ITV FL like I do Sai now. She is the darling for me,just next to my daughter.

Unfortunately Neil is getting recognition not for his amazing acting ability but more for the off screen antics into which he has been dragged very often by whom I need not mention. I definitely wish to see him take a stand in this regard since it is causing hindrance towards the due credit he has to get for his performance

I didn't think twice to give a chance to the show when I first saw Neil as an IPS officer. IPS officer Zakir Siddique, will always be remembered. Though it was a cameo role but it had really a huge impact. Even I guess IPS Virat Chavan can't take that place. Same I can't watch the show for that two weeks as for two reasons; one, I don't watch shows when leads aren't together on screen and I missed him 😆.. YK, it was hard for me to imagine an actor as Lakshman after as Neil literally owned the role. I've watched his all of his shows from Gulaal to Ghkkpm except Roop and since I didn't remember much of Gulal, I'm so heavily Impress to see him romantic first time. It was so so soothing, and the chemistry they shared was something. Even I watched his Gujarati film, which was really good.

Apparently Ghkkpm isn't the best performance of Neil but it made him noticed by masses and he got his lifetime role tbh. And his best jodi, NeilSha/Sairat. I can say with such awesome chemistry and comfort between them, Neil-Mansi's jodi will be left behind.😆

Neil’s fan since his hugely charming turn as Abhi in Karol Baug on Zee 🥰

Love his portrayal of IPS Virat Chavan & find him handsome in uniform. Wish the cvs had taken advantage of his skill & wrote the role better.

This is what I mean!!!
make the story about his profession

This Virat no one can recognize

I actually feel bad for Neil

His initial days on ghum

Gosh! Just fell in love with him

I remember him in the other shows too

Anyways

I have to stop coming on the forum

to get off my addiction to them

It’s sad

I wrote elsewhere too

Man khathakta hai

When I think I gave my heart to this couple

There is no Sairat without Niel. No two ways

We need more posts like these. I had posted an independent post too for the first time, after that Holi sequence, and it was about Neil!

I honestly felt he was not getting his fair share of recognition. Especially when he put in his 200 percent after his recovery from Covid. His commitment to the show and his impatience to get back to normal was palpable.

There's no Sairat without Virat and there's no Virat without Neil. Same with Ayesha and Sai but this post is about Neil.

However, I have to express myself here. Granted this is an over dramatic daily soap. I see a lot of people putting down the show, and wanting Neil to leave because the show is horrible, the character graph is terrible. His fans too. Some of his fans have stopped following the serial because of his character or because the FL is centrestage?? Isn't that an accepted fact in desi TV??

I tend to disagree with this whole perspective. Indian entertainment being what it is, we cannot discount the importance of having a huge GEC success in your CV. It reaches a wide audience, attracts attention from a lot of industry bigwigs, it is a pathway.

I am a new follower. I have seen him only in Ghum. But now I will always be on the lookout for his work.

Don't we want our favourites to get more recognition, more fans?

Whatever nonsense I see on screen, if my favourite's show is in the top 5 shows, I would be thrilled.

Neil has managed to make Virat as real as possible. There are many men who are in top posts, but are total MCPs in their personal spaces. He makes us think in that direction through his acting capability. That's his intelligence as an actor.

My only concern is that his personal life is invading his professional life. Maybe because he is engaged to another actor on the same show, it's too close to home.

It is at this point he needs to be careful. He does understand, he does do damage control, especially recently. But ...but....I'm noone to give advice on his personal life, so let me stop here. 😆

All I can say is let's keep encouraging him, and loving him for Virat, irrespective of any other factor around him. 🤪

Phew, too long a post by my standards😆
