Respected sir/madam,

We are contacting you regarding the current occurrences in your prime time show Ghum hai

Kisikey Pyaar Meiin (GHKPM) (Star Plus, 8:00 pm). With all due respect to the cast,

team and channel we would like to bring to your notice the following occurrences that have

taken place on the show. We hope you take the time to read this email and address our

concerns formally. This may seem like a lot of gibberish for someone uninitiated into the

drama, but we sincerely hope you take the time to read the email.

GHKPM has three leads on paper: Ayesha Singh (Sai Joshi, female lead), Neil Bhatt (Virat

Chavan, male lead) and Aishwarya Sharma (Pakhi/Patralekha Salunke, third lead). However,

the USP of the show is Sai and SaiRat (Sai-Virat). The common narrative spun by the cast

and crew on the show to address this is that the fans harass Aishwarya because she is in a

relationship with Neil. They seeming blame Aishwarya’s below-average performance, lack

of understanding of her character and lack of connection with the audience on her

relationship status rather than her acting skills. We would like to clarify that this is not the

case in point and elaborate on the pettiness Aishwarya (and Neil, the cast and crew in

extension) exhibit on various occurrences.

- The GHKPM team and cast is known among various fandoms for being biased,

unprofessional, undisciplined and rude. Our fandom has been dealing with this

behaviour since the inception of the show. This has been shown in several events that

have occurred right from the New Year cake cutting incident by Aishwarya to the

constant PR machinery.

- Aishwarya has also posted several social media comments, stories and posts

calling fans vehement haters, harassers and troublemakers when she hurts fans

sentiments and invites their ire. This goes giving statements calling the Indian

television audience hypocrites (for not accepting Pakhi character as a positive

lead (which she is not), Kishori Shahane (Kaku) giving an interview on SBS saying

that fans should accept Aishwarya-Neil as leads as they are a real-life couple to

the aggressive PR machinery against Ayesha Singh.

- The show GHKPM is still being advertised as Aishwarya and Neil’s show in

every interview, news publication and video. Behind-the-scene segments hate on

Ayesha and her character Sai, aggressively promote Aishwarya-Neil and blindly

support Aishwarya as the sole lead of the show.

- Aishwarya Sharma loves self-victimising herself. She constantly attacks, gaslights

and harasses fans because she and the team believe that they are being hated by

fans who blindly support Ayesha. Aishwarya also believes that fans hate her

because she is currently dating Neil instead of rightfully blaming it on her instigating

behaviour which she thinks is fun as riles fans up and provide entertainment for her.

It's the responsibility of both the lead to promote the show and hype the lead pair

of the show Sai (Ayesha) and Virat (Neil). But we never witness that because Neil is

always busy in protecting and promoting his romantic relationship with Aishwarya

(Pakhi).

- The couple has repeatedly used the show for their personal jodi promotion. In

other shows, news channel segments come with the reel lead couple. In this show, all

the segments come with the reel male lead (Virat) & third lead(Pakhi), who are

playing Devar-Bhabhi on-screen (in the show). Whether it's Valentine's day segment,

Shivratri day segments, co-actors segment or any other PR segment done in the name

of the show. Neil and Aishwarya use all the news portals, media blogs and interviews

for their PR stunts to promote their personal jodi using Show # tag and promoting

themselves as the lead couple, right from the very beginning.

- The show cast and crew vehemently defend this behaviour because the two are a

“real-life couple” and refuse to acknowledge why it upsets fans to see Ayesha

sidelined when she shoulders the whole show. They constantly preach that fans should

learn to differentiate between the reel and real while they along with Aishwarya and

Neil with some other cast always mix reel and real. Fans love #SaiRat very much. We

don't like that Virat's name comes with Vahini Patralekha on any platform. But the

team and actors actions are truly disappointing.

This is just a glimpse of what fans ignore daily for the show. We are the only active

fandom that doesn’t complain about the lack of BTS segments, doesn’t get any

promotions, no couple scenes or romance in a show whose genre is romance yet work so

hard to promote the show. It is disheartening to see several members quit the show and talk

about their families quitting the show because of a drama.

Star Plus is a reputable GEC known for strict behaviour, etiquette and professionalism. This

is truly not expected from your channel, representatives and team. There should be a limit to

the disrespect fans get: instead we get targeted, blocked or bashed for expressing our mildest

opinions or supporting Ayesha as Sai because to the team Neil and Aishwarya are the leads.

The general audience would be fine with a new lead for Sai after the separation track.

Or kindly clarify if Aishwarya-Neil are the leads of the show so we can happily quit

watching and move on.

As they rightfully say, there is a limit to everything after which “paani sar se upar nikal jata

hai”-- this is our limit. We sincerely hope you address these issues that we have brought to your notice among several other issues we face daily.

If you do not like the track convey it, along your recommendations. If you like to see more of the leads promotion, they suggest for it - stop bringing personal affairs into an email, if any corporate body has to consider your letter seriously. By bringing this fandom nonsense, you'll be just considered another crazy fan & will be flushed down by their system, with a mandatory acknowledgement response.

IKr!! I literally had to edit so many points to send it. It'll hamper Neil's career directly and thus Sairat. These mails were drafted by Neil haters (yes I know they hate Neil) and it's really shown in the letter. It would have been better if they included Aish and Yamini but by including Neil it's really disappointing

First let actor actress stop their non sense and attack on fans...they are dependent on audience not audience dependent on them....even top actor actress know how public image works

Guys,plz don't send this email... It looks like Aishwarya and neil haters thing... And I am not sure about other stuff but on new year Ayesha herself standing behind, everyone called her but she didn't come... It's not fair to blame others for that... And Kishore mam never said Neil and aish are leads... In ladak iv when anchor asked should sai accompany them, she just said let those two to go bcoz they are real couple in fun way... Yes fans are hurt but it's only in fun way....

Neil hater? U mean whatever written about neil is fake ? Can u tell that? He himself support her nonsense including what happened today.
