Well,I cannot defend Virat for what he did that day, but I have said it and will say it,Virat reacted to Sai's actions that day, if she could have just told him politely ,then I don't think he would jave stopped her. Cuz,if his intention was to hold hand from the beginning, he would have again held it while she was stepping out of the house

When Sai said bye to tai and Pulkit she was smiling and the moment she turned away and walked away from them . Her expression was very telling of how anxious and worried she was.

E.g. I hate it when people praised a guy for "allowing" his wife to work, what does that even mean, why is that allow thing even coming to picture?

Your guess is right. He considers her to be close. It is not because she is his wife, he feels he can be himself with her. This is the Virat, one who need not be controlling his emotions, need not act conditioned. He always act in a particular way with his family, has been conditioned to act that way. He know how Sai is, bindaas. How she just speaks her mind and is not worried what someone would think. He knows she wouldn't judge him.

Also, her actions always upsets him. He has faith that she wouldn't do anything wrong. And if she proves him wrong, basically proves his belief wrong, he gets very upset.

He vouched to his family that she wouldn't have gone against his word but she has gone against him.

He doesn't want her to go wrong and doesn't want her to get insulted by anyone due to her wrong moves. But this time, he is feeling betrayed. His emotions are also overpowering him.

Toh his fight is mainly because she didn't listen to him and do per his wishes and that while he was all lattu over her during Holi, she was not even thinking about him.

I don’t understand this if we say something against one character , why is the conversation leads to the bad qualities of the other related character. Why can’t it just be defending the character spoken against and having a discussion over it

Am I over praising ayesha and Neil if I say they nailed all the minute expressions in the episodes this week ?

even though Sai didn’t have dialogues at some point her expressions of hope frustration sadness betrayal tears were portrayed so well

and Virat’s expressions of shock , anger , betrayal that his wife didn’t believe his proof , was also spot on

You could be right and this thought did cross my mind but I didn’t want to reduce him to someone who’s only thinking of himself in a situation where his unstable sister is concerned, it’s not about Pulkit but about Devi and it’s a shame that Virat being a police officer can’t put his feelings towards his wife aside and deal with this more calmly. I could only see his concern for his sister in all this. He might have felt that Sai did not reciprocate his feelings or enjoy with him as he did with her while playing holi, but I don't think that was the reason for his anger.

Her going behind his back, put his sister's life at risk bothered him. He thinks that Sai has got influenced by Pulkit and that Pulkit is not a good guy. He believes that Pulkit is doing it to take revenge from his family and will destroy his sister's life. This wouldn't have happened if Sai had not helped Pulkit, hence the rage.
