Shiva's breakdown is going to come soon. Not only he has not said any words, but we honestly don't know what he feels. Like as an audience, we haven't heard his thoughts. Did you see that when Dhara hugs him, he doesn't hug her right away? He takes a couple seconds before he places his hands on her back. Just shows that he's somewhat hurt by this. Not sure how will his resolve break, but look forward to it. I also wonder if he'll go to his tree for some me time to reflect on recent changes in his life.

Btw, congrats on making a Groupbie!

This, I didn't really think much of it when the wedding track started but it has come to the fore in the past few episodes - Shiva has become hard to read as a viewer, he's ambiguous. I'm waiting to hear his thoughts as well. Also, appreciation for the talent here, we're feeling for the character, understanding his reactions as well as finding him ambiguous all at once.

He's definitely hurt but he's persistently burying it in his devotion to his family. It peeps out at several points during his interactions with Dhara, Gombi, Suman and Krish - you can see the teary eyes and struggle.

Really good point about his tree! I would love to see that happen, it's true to his character and would be a great monologue scene.

The tree is Shiva's personal bubble - your point above makes me wonder if he'll ever share that space with Raavi.

Hello Pandya Parivaar... would anybody be so kind to give an update on today's episode??

Summary of Today's Episode

Won't spoil it a lot because I am sure you have to see it to get all the feels before you ruin the fun with what's coming up.

It starts from yesterday's scene. Gombi tells Rishita everyone's equal. Shiva asks the driver to go home and Dev Rishita follow soon after. At home Dhara preps to welcome the newly Weds and Suman at home taunts her and makes her realize how she isn't a real mom because real mom won't let any harm come her children's way. Then asks her to not show her face to her.

Dhara goes away to temple and prays for both couples especially for Shiva and Raavi and asks God to fill Raavi and Shiva's life with love for each other.

And then it's the graha pravesh scene. Rishita gives some nasty taunts. Dev tries to defend Dhara, and tells her that they are together only because Dhara, but Rishita has different opinion. In her self gloating process, she calls Raavi "us ladki" and Shiva steps in (watch it yourself on how). ❤️ And he also claims that If Dhara doesn't do Arti then no one will go in. Dev tries to convince Rishita more, but she doesn't listen. She doesn't even listen to Gaumbi either. Mami's happy listening to Rishita's taunts for Dhara and adds "ghee to the fire". You get glimpse of Shiva vs Rishita here as he defends Dhara (❤️). (It's going to be entertaining in future). Suman comes in as a refree and makes the final decision as we've seen in SBS clip.

Dhara does Arti of both couples. Rishita didn't want to take her blessings so just like earlier, Dev pulls her hand. Here you also get glimpse into Shiva's thoughts for the first time over this wedding. Raavi is definitely upset with Dhara as you can see her flinching when Dhara tries to cup her face after the aarti. It ends there with Dhara finishing Aarti.

Oh and there are also Anita Hardik scenes in between as he helps her.

Precap: Shiva and Raavi are in the kitchen and get into argument of how this wedding was against both's will.

Exactly! And I'm sure you're going to love today's episode. You get glimpse of Shiva doing everything that we always hoped or wanted to see. It wasn't at the full force, but it's definitely a beginning.

Loveeeeddd shivi today ❤️ They have so much chemistry and actors emote really well too. We can connect to both of them eventhough both are expressing their turmoil in very different ways. I can’t wait for next week

Sometimes, I wonder whether the writers are partial to Shiva. Perhaps they love him just as much as we love him, if not, maybe even a little more. His character graph has only been increasing since the wedding track began, and today proved to me what type of man Shiva is set out to be post-wedding track. All I can say is that he is just ❤️.

He's only been married for a short while, but he supported Raavi in the best way possible after Rishita's "us ladki" comment. As @Mountains_Lakes mentioned, it is the best possible first step he could have taken towards this marriage. I loved seeing Raavi's reactions to his words (not to mention the rest of the character's reactions), and though she may not believe it now, Shiva would definitely support/shower her with love in a way that Dev never can. I can't wait to see how their love story unfolds.

Not to mention, Shiva wonderfully supported Dhara as well. He may get scolded by Dhara and Gaumbi in tomorrow's episode, but right now, I just want to give him one big hug! THIS is how you protect the people you hold near and dear to you. Kanwar definitely deserves all the kudos possible for today's episode (and at a great time too since he crossed 100K followers on Instagram).

Meanwhile, I really hope the writers do something about Dev's characterization. I get he's a nice person and a gentleman, but buddy, it's fine to be assertive and strong (all while being a gentleman) to get your point across to your wife. I don't think she'll ever stop loving you even if you were a bit stern with her. If he continues to be shown in this way, I'm scared he'll become overshadowed by the other brothers.

The scene between Suman and Dhara had me on an edge and I was like "oh🤬", that's some hurtful words right there...

OH MY GOD!!! I LITERALLY HAD TO REWIND AT THAT PART CAUSE MY JAW DROPPED!!! I WATCHED IT LIKE 10 TIMES BEFORE I COULD MOVE ON, my heart is beating really fast cause of the scene and I almost dropped my laptop in the process and my poor Raavi, she looked so genuinely shocked.

ohhh I was right, Shiva is gonna heavy blame on Dev, He definitely lost some of the respect he had for Dev during this process all because of Rishita. But I am glad to say that I think I have been proven wrong about Dev's characterization. I thought he would become a coward who doesn't speak up against his wife. and while I still think he needs major work and is still not that ...great, I don't believe that Dev will ever actually go against Dhara.

AHh Rishita, I wanted to smile into her face from beyond the screen. I do believe she saw her first of many losses today.

Raavi still looked extremely overwhelmed with everything and Shiva makes a good point because out of all 4 of them, he was the only one not prepared to get married like at all, the thought process of now its not just me in the span of a few hours is a lot.

This time before I dive into ShiVi, I have to mention another special relationship. Suman and Dhara.

Dhara grew up without a mother and irrespective of how Suman talks to her on her face, her love and concern for her is just as if she was her daughter. A mother can tell her daughter anything, but when a third person tells her the same thing, she'll bring out the lioness within her. And that was clearly shown today as you juxtapose their scene from the beginning of the episode vs the end. Suman practically said similar harsh things to Dhara as Rishita by calling her "a mother on rent" (ouch 💔💔). Then she asked Dhara to never come in front of her. She even refused her help when Dhara tried to help her wheel to the porch and welcome the newly Weds.

And then shortly after, the way she looked at Rishita as she said, "she's 'shunning' Dhara from doing wrong" with deadly /disbelief look was a tell tale sign of what's about to follow. That look quickly changed into that of helplessness and pain as Mami taunted Dhara for being childless. You can tell that Suman still cares. And if that wasn't enough the relief and pride shown in her eyes as Dev and especially Shiva defends Dhara, by telling Rishita that Dhara's like Yashoda to them and they are just as much Dhara's kids as Ma's. Kritika emoted all that so well that it tugs your heart strings.

And irrespective of their internal tension, she finally comes and speaks up in defense of Dhara. Every line she said, told us and everyone there what place Dhara has in this house. First, when asking Dhara that neither she (Suman) or her are dead, so why does Mami need to do aarti, she implied Dhara's place in the house hold and who's in charge after her. And then telling Rishita this is her house and she can stay by her rules or go home. Then adding that Dhara's in fact her mother in law, thereby officially giving Dhara the authority to continue to make decisions for the house and related to the kids as she deems appropriate. This should have clearly told Rishita that she's answerable to Dhara. If anything, she taunts Dhara for keeping her mouth shut and not speaking up earlier in her own defense. That whole thing was beautiful. Now, I just hope that she can forgive Dhara. For Dhara will need her mom to give her emotional support to deal with Rishita.❤️

Mhh Dhara and Suman's relationship is really interesting. But Suman was also right because after her comes Dhara, Dhara took care of the people and the house for years! She helped raise those boys and for a newcomer to come and try to take away those rights from her is just straight up insulting
