9Apr21 - PurVir come home after kidnapping drama - Episode review

Hi guys, finally I got a breather from work...zyada time nahi tha, so only saw the PurVir hug scene

Kitna achcha tha yaar...so soft n tender n full of unexpressed love and unsaid promises

In the beginning, Mukhi kitna utavla ho raha tha..."itne dino baad mil rahe hai aur yo bawari ab bhi manne intezaar karwa rahi hai"😆

Is it me, or was Vir looking a bit nervous? When Juhi says now Haathi is also here so you have to give us the gift, the way he says, "Haan"...nervous anxiety mein tha ya anticipation mein??

Aur yeh Purvi isse ignore kyun kar rahi thi...he kept stealing glances at her and ye madam kapde teh karne mein lagi thi! The awkwardness between them when the kids go was also cute to see...the last time they had seen each other was under such different circumstances and that it was playing on their minds was very evident!

Bechara Vir...he is not sure how to apologize or make up to Purvi...the hesitance in his voice & body language when he asks "Tu abhi tak naraaz hai mere ta"...so excellently portrayed by Amar! And when Purvi says "Jo bina soche samjhe aag mein koode hamare liye, aur hume bachane ke liye goli khane se bhi na katraye, usse hum kaise naraaz ho sakte hai", the way his entire face lights up...it is such a joy to see him happy again Ever since the valentine day party, we have not really seen Vir happy❤️

And the apology...simple, heartfelt & without giving any excuses in his defence! For me, it is particularly significant coz though he always folds his hands while apologizing, this was the first time he bowed his head also...it added so much more meaning to the same action❤️ And absolutely LOVED how Purvi lifts up his head...with this one gesture she conveyed all her forgiveness! And she calls him Hamare Mukhiji

That one moment between the apology & the hug is so poignant...in the past few weeks both have suffered in their own way - distrust, allegations, suspicion, heartbreak, fear of losing one another...they needed this moment to leave all of that behind, to regain what was lost☺️

And then finally the HUG! Cir made the first move - Yaaayyyyy🥳 The flashbacks were very well selected...added a lot of depth to the scene! The way Vir puts his arm around Purvi and pulls her close See from 6.25 to 6.35 -

Purvi is gripping him so tightly...she feels so safe in his arms and after her recent ordeal, she doesn't want to let go of that safety. And Vir realises that, his face has a slight frown when he senses her grip and he immediately cups her head with his hand to reassure her - he is now here and she doesn't need to fear anything! And Purvi also understands his reassurance & calms down!

Sigghhhhhhh!

Like Aayu said, this is their first proper hug - warm, tender, reassuring, protective - everything a hug should be!

There is so much of peace & contentment on their faces - sukoon! Like they have come where they were always meant to be - in each other's arms!

Hayeee...kahin meri hi nazar na lag jaye PurVir ko! But then again, my mother always says ki hum jinko pyaar karte hai, unko hamari nazar nahi lagti❤️

I spent 5 mins seeing the scene & then 20 mins writing all this

But once I saw the scene I just couldn't resist!😳

For me, Amar/VPS owned the scene. The nuances portrayed..UFFFFFFF! Loved it

I loved the apology too. Simple and highly effective! Also, Purvi's reaction /dialogues to the apology were very good.

BTW, did you see the scene where Prakashi asked both Purvir to rest up and they start going upstairs? Purvi stops and asks VPS if she can go talk to Sudha/Priyu first?

Yes I did. And I wasn't very happy about it. Why do ITV heroines always put unnecessary things before husband?

Behen, abhi kidnap ho kar aayi ho, bachche dare huye hai, pati pareshan hai aur tum thaki hyui...why is it so imp to find out about Sakshi🤦‍♀️

O M G ..it annoyed the heck out of me😡. I wanted to grab her and shake some sense into her.Like seriously?? What is SO important/urgent that it could not wait for 30 mins..or even a couple of hours. She definitely needs to get her priorities right.

As you said, everyone just escaped such harrowing and traumatic events and the first thing she wants to do is know about khandar lady? Not spending time with kids who witnessed violence etc or just even trying to exchange a few words with her husband. The kids had been so worried about her. Usko kuch nahin dikha??Uske upar even when the kids are calling she wants 2 minutes more😔. It was Su-pri who sent her away!!!

Let me clarify, we can understand/justify when she wanted to spend a few quick minutes with Su-Pri. I thought she would thank them for their help or something. AND that would have bene great. But NO..isko apni saut ki padi hai.

I just found Purvi's attitude very casual in that instance. She took the kids and VPS for granted. VPS body language conveyed he wanted to go upstairs.

If she had just 1 hour ..what would she rather do?? spend time with VPS ,kids, her friends or think about khandar lady??

I soo missed reading them… actually Ramadan start ho rahi hai and I won't be catching up the epis live and neither will watch the clips toh bas updates padhoongi and your reviews are gonna help me a lot in understanding Purvir scenes better and woh bhi itne detail mein

ahh.. Coming to the review, Mein toh swarg mein thi while watching the hug it was too soft and at the same time passionate 🤧🤧🤧

I absolutely loved the part when Vir folded his hands he has did that quite a few times before PurVir but this time it was… Just love.. ❤️ he had his head lowered while seeking forgiveness throughout ✨

baaki toh I am really bad at expressing but this hug was very special and conveyed soo much, it was all she needed, he needed and we needed 😳
