I can't say much about the Atharv-Ravish thing but as much as I remember the build-up was there. So I think it made sense. Yaha pe bada hi sasta wala copy-pasting kiya gaya hain and I am not even bothered about it anymore.

It's a shame characters like Vashma and Uday got wasted in the pagalpanti. 🤔

Actually a lot of things yaar! I don't know if I am getting old or what (not that it's a bad thing) but this sasta wala forced tragedy isn't really worth it. There are people with real problem and there are so many things that you can incorporate in a story but these people will always go for separation and God knows for what while butchering gems like VashmAy.

So I am resorting to strict policy. Leave it before it starts to frustrate you. 😎 😎 😎

Okay guys, brace yourselves for my weekly Grey's Anatomy pagalpanti because today I am just too glad, even when they are dealing with a pandemic. 😭 😭 😭

I want to share the AmeLink portion obviously... 🤪 Copy pasting from different reviews...

In tonight’s Grey’s Anatomy episode, Link’s parents came for a visit. They didn’t tell their son they were coming to town for a visit. They surprised him by just showing up one day and both Link and Amelia were so glad for adult human interaction that they welcomed them with open arms. The new parents were tired out. They have a new baby and they were also taking care of an additional three children. Amelia’s nieces and nephew.

They needed help with the kids and they were glad his parents showed up. His parents came to see their grandson. They haven’t met him before now because of the pandemic and so they quarantined in preparation for two weeks straight with no contact with the outside world. And now they were ready for hugs and presents.

Link’s parents were also known to embarrass him. His mother called Amelia her daughter-in-law. She said Amelia is already her daughter-in-law no matter how long Link was dragging his feet on proposing and so Link got away from his parents as fast as he could. He and Amelia took advantage of their empty house to relax. Link got down on bended knee. But that wasn’t what she wanted at all, she just needed a good cry. “It just hit me,” she later said, “that it’s been months since I was able to feel whatever I want without worrying that I’m going to scar a child.”

While they have the chance, Amelia and Link talk about a lot of things. They discuss marriage, and Amelia is brutally honest about the fact that she’s been thinking about getting high lately. After a quick nap (to deal with the stress), Link confronts the conversation head-on. He listens as Amelia talks about what she’s feeling. She admits that she doesn’t want to do pills. She just wants to buy some weed and smoke it.

She isn’t sure she’s the marriage type, saying she’s “wired for self-destruction.” She divulges that she thinks constantly about getting high, as the pandemic is a threat to sobriety for her and everyone in her support group.

But Link tells Amelia he would marry her in a moment, saying the fact that she’s only thinking about getting high shows she’s the “opposite of self-destructive.” He gets down on bended knee once more, and again, Amelia tells him to get up. “Not when I’m confessing my darkest secrets and I have snot dripping down my face!” she says with a laugh.

Link tells Amelia that he’s not Owen, and he needs her to not get high. Amelia agrees to not get high if Link doesn’t propose in a semi-compulsory manner. They strike a deal. Link still wants to marry Amelia, but he’ll wait for the perfect moment.

So guys, what do you think? This has got to be one of the most healthiest relationships I have ever seen getting portrayed on screen.

Definitely sounds a great sequence, progress and relationship. Great to know you got such a fab episode.

Also the pandemic reference was great.

You see, this is the thing. It's not like they are not talking about pressing issues like why racial discrimination against Black people has been a long practice, how it is affecting the society. They are gonna address the George Floydd issue next episode and the build up has been there for weeks now. And it astonishes you how cleverly they have co-related all the sub-plots and characters.

And then there is insight into these very little things like parents too can get exhausted. Mental health specially an ex-addict, you don't know how to cope up. It's been one year but I still remember how frustrating the last year has been with death news coming up, watching my friends losing their parents and the list goes on.

So why don't we address these issues? Why should it only be milna-beecharna? why can't there be progression?

To give ITV some lease, even Amelia and Link had a super forced dramatic pregnancy sequence with the paternity thing and they came out of it being stronger. Now we are getting to see the progression.

But here all we can see is separation, and more separation and then again more separation. Gotta quote Amelia here - "This is a threat to my sobriety."

P.S. What happened to Rajvi? Based on your description I would decide whether to download yesterday's episode or not. 😛

Yes, they do! The first episodes I don't know. But major rift is caused by our Pallavi jiski duniya chalti hai assumptions pe. So cos of her his mom thinks he is horrible, just messes up and destroys life of people, sleeps around with girls and all that.. So she keeps insulting him.. Slapped him too, but RR ne usko bhi suna diya, he told all facts and truth and said if not for me, apni parwarish pe vishwas rakhti aap, and walked away and she felt guilty! You should see that scene.
