He can’t arrest Pulkit without providing proof that Devi tai is unstable. If he wants to send his own family to jail, he can do it. Because all their deeds will come out in open in court because they won’t be able to prove it

like i have been saying it is not necessary that a mentally unstable person cannot make their own decisions... Indian laws for such people are very archaic dating to 1950s they need to be changed

Virat had fake proof (form manipulated by Omi) which is being used as basis to stop this marriage.

That letter is no proof, plus it's gone.

If Virat has to do things officially, they will be caught.

She was worried about pulkits safety . Look at how much they have tortured her , she will obviously be scared to tell everything in front of kaku at her own place . Kaku was also threatening her subtly. Now that she has support of people she loves she is brave.

Virat doesn’t have to blindly take tais words. But could have given it a thought plus so many other people are vouching for him. In his state of mind it’s hard to register anything but a SLIGHT doubt in his expression would have been a good thing to see

I went and read Hindu wedding laws . Also courts registration is not needed if proper rituals recognised by the community is done for the wedding to be considered legal

Yes Hindu marriage act pandit is the witness I guess. Registering the marriage was not the norm for our parents generation. I think it started for visa purposes for the next generation Indians.

By law virat cannot arrest but for itv drama they can show that. Since it’s India even if it’s not law you can arrest someone with fake documents. The victim will run around court to prove its false evidence. The judiciary system in India is quite scary.
