Part 7

‘Sai mujhe tension ho rahi hai kya baat karni hai. Tab bhi toh batao gi hi na ab batado?’ Virat asked for the upteenth time now as he drove her to college.

Sai replied ‘bas thoda intezar or. Phir bataungi na. Lekin please Virat sir hum jo bhi apko bataenge usko dhyan se sunna or samjhna. Please.’

Virat was really tense now because his thoughts were going really bad, he voiced one of them ‘Tum mujhe chod kar ja rahi ho kya?’

Sai was shocked without even thinking she replied ‘PAgal ho kya aap? Kuch bhi bol rahe ho.’

Virat was somewhere relieved so spoke ‘Are joke tha.’ but deep down he had that fear.

Sai too calmed down. Virat spoke ‘Acha thik hai. Mujhe kuch kam hai vo karke main tumhe 12 baje pick karta hu.’

Sai replied ‘ji.’ Car came to a halt. Sai opened the door, turned a bit and spoke.

‘Jaisa aap soch rahe hai. Vaisa kuch bhi nahi hai’ and she moved to her college.

Virat was happy yet embarrassed as she caught him.


Finally at 12 Virat picked up Sai and Pulkit came in his car.

They sat in the cafe. Virat and Sai opposite Pulkit.

Virat spoke ‘Ab batao kya baat hai?’

Sai spoke ‘Virat sir yeh Dr. Pulkit Deshpande hai’

Virat chuckled and spoke ‘tum intro pehle karva chuki ho Sai.’

Sai completed her sentence ‘Yeh hamari Devi tai ke pati hai.’

Virat was shocked ‘Yeh tum kya bol rahi ho Sai? Soch bhi rahi ho?’

Pulkit then intervened and showed him the pics and told him the whole story. He was even more shocked hearing the ugly truth about his family.

Sai held his hand and spoke ‘Virat sir. Pulkit sir jo bhi keh rahe hai sach hai. Maine tai ke muh se kai bar unki shadi ka zikar suna hai.’

Virat was ashamed of what his family did. He joined his hands and spoke ‘Pulkit main tumse puri family ki taraf se maafi mangna chahta hu.’

Pulkit spoke ‘Are nahi Virat kaisi batein kar rahe ho.’

He hugged Virat and spoke ‘Vaise Virat us din jo tumne samjha tha mere or Sai ke bare mein vo toh galat tha’

Virat’s eyes widened and he was embarrassed. He spoke ‘Sorry. Par apko pata kaise laga?’

Pulkit spoke ‘Kisi ko bhi pata lag jata Saale sahab’

Virat gave an embarrassed smile.

Sai spoke ‘Kya batein kar rahe ho aap dono?’

Virat was embarrassed enough to utter a word so Pulkit replied ‘Kuch khas nahi.’
Sai spoke ‘Okay okay. Acha Virat sir kya karna hai ab?’

Virat replied ‘KArna kya hai? Ghar chalte hai or baat karte hai Kaku se. I am sure vo maan jaengi’

Sai spoke nervously ‘I hope so. Kyuki agar manna hota toh pehle hi maan jati.’

Virat replied ‘Sab thik hoga.’

Virat hugged Pulkit and SaiRat left for the CN.

*Sorry guys but I can’t show a lot of family drama as this is not my thing.I will keep it minimal. So, really sorry for disappointing’


SaiRat reached CN and called the family members.

While listening about Pulkit, KAku and the gang got nervous and angry. Bhavani said ‘yeh shadi kisi kimat par nahi hogi’

Virat retorted ‘shadi toh hokar rahegi Kaku or vo bhi baht jald. Or agar yaha kisi ne bhi is shadi ko rokne ki koshish ki toh thik nahi hoga.’

Bhavani and the gang was angry but they kept quiet for the moment as she had a bigger plan in her mind.

 
Sai came to her room as Virat called her.

‘Ha Virat sir boliye.’ Sai spoke.

Virat spoke ‘Sai mujhe kal urgently ek training ke liye jana hai. 2 din mein vapis aunga. Tab tak tum yaha sab sambhal lena. Please.’

Sai was sad but still spoke ‘don’t worry main dhyan rakhungi ghar par sabka.’

Virat smiled. Sai spoke ‘chalo ab main chalke dinner banati hu.’

Virat spoke ‘ha thik hai. Main bhi jane ki tyari karta hu.’

Sai nodded and left.

She was crossing Bhavani’s room when she heard something.

‘Ha Virat kal kuch kam se bahar ja raha hai mauka dekhte hi tum Devyani ko kidnap kar lena. Uske baad kya karna hai tumhe bataungi main.’

Sai got the shock of her life, she without thinking twice entered her room and spoke ‘Kaku aap aisa nahi kar sakti.’

Bhavani startled but then spoke ‘Tujhe kya laga junglee mulgi main us naukar se apni beti ki shadi karvaungi? Bhul ja. Aisa kabhi nahi hoga.’

Sai spoke ‘main abhi Virat sir ko batati hu ki aap kya kar rahi ho.’

Bhavani spoke ‘Vo toh kal shayad training pe ja raha hai na? Toh use itni badi tension degi? Kaisi biwi hai Tu? Or vaise bhi Tujhe lagta hai vo tera yakeen karega?’

Sai was worried because she can’t tell Virat about her evil plans right before his training so she tried to convince her. 

‘Kaku aap kyun kar rahi hai aisa? Apko kya milega in sabse? Ho jane dijiye na yeh shadi’ Sai spoke.

 Kaku replied ‘vo naukar hamare ghar ka damaad kabhi nahi banega. Mohit or Virat ne toh hamari naak katva hi di tum ladkio se shadi karke ab main Devi ki shadi nahi karvaungi usse.’

Sai reasoned ‘Is zamane mein bhi aap aisi choti soch rakhti hai? Please Kaku mat kariye aisa. Devi tai ko bhi khush rehne ka haq hai.’

Kaku spoke ‘tujhe itna farak kyu pad raha hai.’

Sai spoke ‘Tai manti hu main unhe dil se, unki khushi ke liye kuch bhi.’

Kaku thought of a plan and spoke ‘Kuch bhi? Kya kar sakti hai uski khushi ke liye?’

Sai spoke ‘Kuch bhi.’

Kaku spoke ‘thik hai Tu is ghar se chali ja hamesha ke liye or tere jaate hi Main un dono ki shadi karva dungi.’

Sai was shocked ‘Lekin Virat sir or Aai?’

Kaku spoke ‘Kya Virat? Vaise bhi toh tu jaane hi vali hai na? Kal ki jati aaj chali ja. Vaise bhi tu Virat ki sirf zimmedari hi hai or kuch nahi.’

The reality hit Sai really hard she was hurt but she can’t change the reality, a tear escaped her eye she wiped it and spoke ‘Thik hai Kaku agar mere jaane se aap Devi tai ki shaadi karva dengi toh main chali jaungi.’

Kaku was happy she spoke ‘Lekin yeh baat tere or mere beech mein rahegi hamesha’

Sai spoke ‘thik hai lekin meri bhi shart hai. Devi Tai ki shadi kal hi hogi meri nazro ke samne or phir main nikal jaungi is ghar se.’

Kaku was shocked because she was thinking of throwing her out and not getting Devi married but Sai played smart. It took a minute or two for Bhavani to calculate the whole scenario and the deal.

She finally spoke ‘Thik hai. LEkin apna vaada bhul toh nahi jaegi na?’

Sai spoke ‘Sai Joshi Vaade nahi todti Kaku.’ and saying so she left from there as she felt her world upside down.

She went to her room and cried a lot. She knew that this day would come but she didn’t expect it to be so soon. She sat in front of her Aaba’s picture and said ‘Aaba pehle is ghar mein aane ka dil nahi tha or aaj is ghar se jane ka dil nahi hai. Yeh kya ho raha hai mujhe? Pehle main intezar karti thi ki kab main doctor banu or Virat Sir se alag hou par Aaba aaj jab vo din aa gaya toh mera dil nahi man raha ki main Virat Sir ko chodke jau. Kyu aaba? Aisa kyu ho raha hai mere sath? 

Par aaba mere sochne se kya hota hai? Yeh toh ek deal wali shadi thi na or Virat sir bhi toh yahi chahte the.’

Her heart questioned ‘jo Ladakh mein hua uske baad bhi lagta hai Sai tujhe ki Virat sir zabardasti hai shadi mein?’

Then her mind answered ‘Ladakh mein jo kuch bhi hua bahut sundar tha lekin jab do opposite sex ke log sath mein rehte hai toh vo chize ho jati hai. Usko pyar ka naam toh nahi de sakti na main’

She cried more giving that reason to herself.

After crying a lot she composed herself ‘Bas Sai chup kar. Aaj ki raat teri Virat Sir ke sath akhri raat hai jee le jitna jina hai. Is ek raat mein puri zindagi ko samet le.’ She wiped her tears, freshened up and went to the kitchen and cooked his favourite food.

In the kitchen she avoided any conversation with Ashwini because she knew she would break down, she just told her that today she would like to have dinner with Virat in their room to which Ashwini happily obliged

Virat came home after doing some formalities, he entered his room to find it decorated a bit. The table and chair were kept in the centre and soft music was playing in the background. He loved the setup but was confused.

Sai was packing his bag which he left undone because of some files.

‘Main aa toh raha tha Sai.’ Virat spoke trying to help her but Sai spoke ‘Main kar rahi hu na. Aap jaiye fresh ho jaiye.’

‘Vo toh thik hai lekin yeh sab kya hai?’ Virat asked.

Sai looked at him and spoke ‘vo actually aap kal ja rahe ho na toh socha dinner hum sath mein karte hai aaj. Lekin agar aap nahi chahte toh hum niche chal sakte hai.’ She spoke but her fingers were crossed as she didn’t want him to go down.

Virat spoke ‘Aisa kuch nahi hai. Main fresh hoke ata hu.’

Sai’s face brightened up ‘thik hai. Packing bas ho gayi hai aap bas check kar lena or main khana laga deti hu tab tak.’

After a few minutes Virat came out and saw Sai plating the food.

Sai spoke ‘Aaiye baithiye’ Virat nodded. He sat on his side and saw the food.

‘Wow Sai yeh sab toh mera favourite hai. Kya baat hai aaj sab mera favourite?’ Virat spoke in a teasing way.

Sai replied ‘Ha man tha mera. Aap khao na. Wait main hi khilati hu.’

She took one bite and fed him ‘Kaisa hai?’ she saw him close his eyes in delight. She looked at him with so much love.

Virat saw her indifferent nature but he was loving this moment so kept his doubts aside.

Virat too fed her and spoke ‘Kaisa hai batao?’

Sai spoke ‘mmm acha hai hai.’

Virat spoke ‘hoga hi. Meri Baiko ne jo banaya hai.’

Sai too played along ‘Achaaa. Apki Baiko toh bahut acha khana banati hai.’

Virat spoke proudly ‘ha vo toh hai.’ and both laughed.

Sai thought ‘Kitna acha lagta hai apke muh se sunke ki main apki Baiko hu.’

Virat spoke ‘Kaha kho gayi Sai?’

Sai came to her senses and spoke ‘Kahi nahi.’
They had their dinner chit chatting, this time mostly Virat doing the talking part and Sai adoring him.

The song in the background played ‘Lag jaa gale’

Sai spoke, hearing that ‘Virat sir dance karenge mere sath?’

Virat spoke ‘ha kyu nahi’ Sai got up and extended her hand.

Virat gave his hand in hers but spoke ‘yeh toh mera kam hai na Sai?’

Sai spoke ‘NAhi. ab pucha maine hai dance ke liye tabhi’

Virat responded ‘okay’

Sai kept her hand on his shoulder followed by his hand on her waist, they swayed very smoothly to the romantic number.

Sai was feeling emotional whereas Virat could feel the indifferent nature but couldn’t understand the reason.

‘hum Ko Mili Hai Aaj 

ye Ghadiya Naseeb Se

je Bhar Ke Dekh Leejiye

hamako Kareeb Se

phir Apke Naseeb Mein

ye Baat Ho Na Ho

shayad phir Is Janaam Mein

The lines hit her really hard, she kept her head on his chest and tears fell down her eyes.

Virat who was getting tensed asked ‘Sai kya hua hai? Tum kuch chupa rahi ho mujhse?’

He tried to face her but she didn’t leave him and stayed in that position.

‘Kuch nahi hua Virat sir. Hug bhi nahi kar sakti kya main?’ Sai spoke

Virat couldn’t say anything he too hugged her tightly. 

After a few moments Virat asked ‘Sai ro kyu rahi ho? Main ja raha hu isliye?’

Sai replied ‘Ha vo mujhe apki yaad ayegi na isliye.’

Virat spoke ‘Sai main sirf 2 din ke liye ja raha hu. 2 din ke baad tum mujhe vapis yahi paogi. Or tab mujhe tumhe mujhe kehna bhi hai.’

Sai spoke ‘kya kehna hai?’

Virat replied ‘Nahi. jab aunga tabhi.’

Sai nodded without arguing with him and thought ‘I will really miss you Virat sir.’
